Can I Just Rant a Little Bit?
Okay, imagine this. You haven't done Atheon on hard for one of your characters. You finally find a raid team willing to do it. You have to go afk to eat dinner, do chores, etc.. The raid team says that they will wait for you. You come back to find that you've been kicked from the fire team. You ask them why they kicked you, and they say "Because you were afk!"
This shit pisses me off. I've been chasing the Mythoclast for a while now, and I finally find a team willing to help me, and they -blam!-ing kick me for having to do things in real life. That is some goddamn bullshit.
EDIT: I realize that it was stupid to expect them to sit there and do nothing, but when they specifically tell you that they don't mind waiting for afk people, that's some bullshit.
ANOTHER EDIT: I should also mention that I was in a state of rage when I wrote this. I didn't really think about it that much. It's one of my flaws as a human being. I apologize for being a dick.
YET ANOTHER EDIT: I should probably mention that I was planning on skipping dinner, but my parents woke up and put something in the microwave. Also, I had done my chores for the day, but my parents wanted me to do another load of laundry and dishes. I will not respond to any more replies, because my fingers are starting to hurt from typing the same thing over and over.

2 AntwortenDude, if you're going to raid. Do NOT, I repeat, [b]DO NOT[/b] go AFK. That is the most annoying shit ever. Raids are intense and fireteams can't afford to wait for you to eat dinner or go poop. If you're going to raid, you're going to be in the game the whole time. If you need to go pee then that's acceptable but eat dinner? I'm not going to frikken wait for some dude to stuff his face for 15-20 mins. I can find someone much more reliable in the time that you're eating.

Better than what happened to me Clear the raid from the beginning to Atheon Xbox freezes after team wipes Restart and sign back in and I'm replaced with someone who "randomly joined" them It's a half hour before reset so ya annoying

6 AntwortenHere's an idea. Do all of that stuff before you sit down and start looking for a fireteam. Noone likes to sit around and wait on the one clown taking forever and wasting our valuable time. Hold up ppl, it's this guys world and we're living in it

1 AntwortenWell they probably didn't realize you would be gone for more than a few minutes. Next time you start a raid, make sure you won't randomly have to do chores. You're wasting 5 other people's time just because you have your priorities backwards.

3 AntwortenIf you join a raid group, then commit to it. Set aside a time when you can play uninterrupted. Going AFK constantly is simply annoying to others.

4 AntwortenGlad you admitted you were a dick, because expecting people to sit around to wait for you while you eat dinner, even if they said they would, is a dick move. Eat your dinner, do your chores, brush your teeth and whatever else you have to do, THEN look for a group to raid with. Just common courtesy man.
