Those links only describe what it is and this quote "Trials of Osiris will release after The Dark Below expansion." seems important.

the only thing that got added with the dark below expansion is the button for trials of osiris but they left it dark until now so it was partially right

So they added a ui element. There so far has been nothing to say it will be released in full with TDB.
