      • I'll just keep is positive and stay away from the gun nerfing for pvp player that affect the PVE play. I think the ability to access weapons from our app and move items around is pretty cool. It saves a substantial amount of time by not having to load a character just to pull a fusion rifle off of him and put it in the vault only to have to load your intended character back up so that you could then retrieve it. I have heard about people losing items. Frankly, it's hard to tell if they are legit or just want handouts, but I hope this never happens to me. Until I lose a coveted weapon because of it , this was a great implementation. This wasn't even hyped up. It was a very cool surprise. Thank y'all for that one.

      • After spending a good while going through my standard run of daily activities with the new patch, I've got some feedback. [b]The Good[/b] Fixing that dreaded heavy ammo bug was a definite plus, it's nice to be able to actually go from mission to mission without losing all of that ammo. CE will run smoother now that we can keep the ammo too. I also think the buff on the PvE shotguns were definitely needed, I actually have a use for that Invective I've had in my vault for the longest of time now. Also, with all other feature addon patches, it's nice to see a few new goodies on the screen and some squashing of some annoying bugs out there. [b]The Bad[/b] Unfortunately though, this patch in my mind does some horrendous damage to the game. First and foremost the forcing of Weekly Heroic matchmaking is a disaster. I can't wait for the large influx of rage topics due to AFKers or Rushers on the weekly heroics, especially since we cannot play solo anymore, I actually have no desire to even play these activities anymore due to that problem. I didn't like strikes before due to that, what makes you think I'll like them now. The next big no-no was the continued catering of invisible data with the AR nerf. I think we're up to a grand total of 10% - 12.5% nerf of what we should be at right now. You cite wanting players to branch out and use other weapons, there's just one little problem. Nobody wants to use those guns because they have nothing going for them. Nerfing the ARs and buffing the PRs will not entice players to switch to PRs just because you want more people to use them. What it actually will do is get some people who are tired of you nerfing their favorite gun to leave your game to go play another. I can understand you wanting to see other gun types being used out there, but nerfing the other classes is not the way to go here, this needs to be undone, and soon. (And by undone, I mean the full 10% - 12.5%) Finally, you don't release a "patch" that introduces a new bug into the game. That's just bad PR/Programming, which honestly, is Bungie's biggest problem right now, you guys don't listen to us, and when you do listen to the select few players, it's usually for the benefit of the very select few at the cost of the majority of your players. Start going into these feedback forums more often, and actually read the posts before acting, it't not hard to see the large wall of people saying not to nerf the guns and then you proceeded to do so anyways. [b]Final Verdict[/b] In terms of scoring this patch falls very flat, I'd rate probably a [b]high 3/10[/b], maybe [b]4/10[/b] if I was feeling a bit more generous. Until you guys stop catering to invisible data which suggests the obvious (We love ARs, they don't need nerfing), and the PvP cryers you'll be continuing to lose support with each passing update, the fact that I didn't even want to touch my AR after one game really tells me you overshot the "2.5%" there. My playtime will be decreasing due to this patch

        • You still can only load into a planet with 5 rockets. The reason this isn't detrimental to our gameplay and your patch for heavy ammo, is in situations like Crota's end. Between sections 1 and two you are forced through a brief loading screen. Which means those 7 rockets you attempted to save for the bridge section??? It's now only 5. Pretty big oversight on your testers parts.. Oh wait I forgot the players are the actual beta testers. For a game that has yet to fully release.

        • Hope you actually respond to concerns expressed instead of providing a false facade of you caring about what we say. Since in reality you don't need to create a thread about what we think about the most recent "balancing" act. One must simply look around and you can pretty much get a good feel of how we all feel about you catering to the 15% which makes up the pvp masses and not the remaining 85% who enjoys the pve and tolerates the pvp. Just some thoughts from an alpha player.

        • My dear DeeJ, The 1.1.1 Update bears little in the way of constructive discussion. You know such debate is... intolerable at best to our esteemed community. Simply look no further than this thread of inherent dissatisfaction, the every contributor feeling personally insulted by some degree of poor measure. Allow me to summarize: [b]THE AUTO RIFLE NERF[/b] Undoubtably the most substantial change to this insatiable community, the minute reduction of 2.5% is apparently unworkable and unneeded. And just like any child whose treasured toy looses value, every Guardian that abused the Auto Rifle is feeling aggressively disheartened. They will attest players should learn to adapt, yet themselves cannot adapt to any change thrown to their underdeveloped play-style, no matter how insignificant. Quite the hypocrisy, really. [b]PVP/PVE SEPARATION[/b] It would seem a most grave offense was given to the PvE aspects of Destiny. By collective agreement, the Auto Rifle and Hand Cannon nerfs are enough to upset the excruciatingly difficult challenges of your most routine PvE missions. Disregarding the most needed Shotgun buff, how ever will we as a community thrive in Nightfalls, Patrols, Strikes, Stories, and Raids without the ever-so-important 2.5 extra damage? And Hand Cannon range? You've quite the audacity to force me to rely on other far range weapons for far range. After all, why snipe when I could just poorly attempt to Fatebringer my most distant enemies. Tsk, tsk, tsk, how could you, Bungie? [b]THE NECROCHASM[/b] Apparently, this is an issue. As a disclamation, I do not own, nor do I want this weapon outside of simple collection. 'Tis only a trophy weapon and close to near every legendary weapon or greater is infinitely superior. Those who complain of its obvious lack of substance only desire a buff so they can advertise their ownership of it. It'd similar to winning a Golden Metal and wanting to run everywhere with it. I.e., pointless. [b]TL;DR[/b] This update only breeds hostile dissatisfaction. The actual benefits of it going sorely under appreciated. DeeJ, the discussion surrounding 1.1.1 is moot, as are any endeavors to please this "never-good-enough" community.

        • Faction Gear: Have revolving content on the weapon selling. Like.... How Xur or Banshee operates. Factions only sell four weapons? No problem: Every 24 hours (or week?) they shift gears and change up their weapons list. It's a bit absurd on how you can buy every ugly Vanguard weapon but the Factions ONLY sell four weapons, with 9 times out of ten they are crap you don't want, add the fact that you don't add weapons to care packages anymore. Have them randomly rotate their gear please. Oh, and perhaps they should sell shaders as well. And rotate those. Faction Care Packages: Restore them back to the way they used to be -- giving you weapons. Thanks. I have enough Shards. Speaking of Shards, how come everything gives you Shards? What in the hell, Bungie? Can I get some Ascendant Energies please? From here, I propose an algorithm in the game that notes how many shards (or energies) you have in storage. If you have like, 144 Ascendant Shards in storage and only 5 Ascendant Energies, all the game material looting starts giving you Ascendant Energies. Please do this. This shouldn't be that hard. I got a million Shards, and no energies. The super-rare Ascendant Energies thing would be okay if you didn't kill the faction care packages.... So.... Maybe it's a good idea to give that lady more shaders to sell. She's awfully weak. Do something with Banshee too, Like make him sell maybe two legendary weapons, which rotates randomly on his rotation schedule. Make it "Iron Banner style" expensive for balance. Nightfall: Stop giving Shards in Nightfall. Jesus Christ man, you really think people go through that trouble for freaking Ascendant Shards!? Really? Every mode gives those.... so, take them out of Nightfall loot, unless they are found in hidden chest or something in the game. Crota Raid: Only two shards or energies? Vault of Glass gave six per loot. Modify this to balance this out. I know I'm asking or proposing a lot, but the faction deal should be fixed, and I think everyone would appreciate revolving content on the faction gear. We game hard on this, don't punish us.

          • Auto rifles suck hardcore now...pulse rifles still suck...this patch just made the good weapons bad and the bad weapons still bad

            • Still dont get why you feel that scoutrifles perform as they should. Theyre marksmens weapons put in a cqc and narrow map selection game, and the few areas in the normal map rotations, where they should be useful, they're getting set aside by snipers and handcannons... still!? How is it even remotly logic that a handcannon still deals the same ammount of damage over a long range distance, leaving my Saterienne Rapier useless? Handcannons should be a close quarter weapon, making it fall drasticly in dmg output in mid to longrange, make it fall so drasticly that the user has to rethink his strategy. Either that or you have to rethink the role the scoutrifles play in this game, fx make the combined arms a permenant playlist in the game. The nerf of the ARs didnt seem that nessecary, the buff of the PRs how ever was. Applaus to you Bungie. But those SRs need some attention, weather its a base dmg buff or a ROF buff, I cant say.

              • I still think there should be an exotic engram that when you decrypt it, essentially it's a build your own exotic weapon. You complete bounties to unlock different perks for your weapons tree . Basically you get to build a weapon from the frame up.. Add what ever perks you want .. That way your exotic is one of a kind .. And tailored to your use .. Or useless and you have to try again ..

              • Finally .. Bad Ju Ju is closing in on the weapon it was supposed to be .. It's now usable in PVP and almost there for PVE .. Needs high caliber rounds for flinch .. Don't use the armor piecing .. Three little words is better now along with any pulse that had head seeker as a perk.. I use the timepiece in PVP a lot now too..

              • I'm still getting sniped across the map by hand cannons and scouts. Don think the patch did its intended purpose. That or the game needs more large sniper maps. I'm on Venus sitting in the grass at C and looking at B which is the point on the ledge and the dude standing at B can snipe me with his scout in two shots? That's a bit whack. Why even have sniper rifles then?

                • I still hate how in normal pvp a level 10 can run me over. I'm Lvl 31 and I don't feel powerful.

                  • Still no vault upgrade, still no ghost shells, still no ship and sparrow breakdown for glimmer, still can't turn useless game currencies and materials into glimmer or synths or other useful items? Still no support from me there DeeJ. Be a good little tool and get the real issues covered.

                  • I'm ok with pulse rifles getting a buff but why taking power from auto rifles? I don't get it make my guns almost useless if I don't wanna use pulse rifles is my choice, how about put better perks on pulse rifles

                    Just Seperate PVP and PVE already, you will never acquire the balance your looking for without killing the PVE experience. The perks on weapons and armor will always give one person an advantage. Please fix the Nechrocasm

                    • Think autos should have only got a range nerf only. Damage should have been left alone. The pulse rifles needed the buff tho i still only use full autos ( until I get the Red Death :) ). Shotguns I don't see a whole lot of difference with really. I still believe range is what needed a buff. Companion app. Is great though some have had difficulties. I hope you fix the problem asap and take care of the ones who have lost items.

                      • You guys really screwed up some of my favorite weapons. Suros, Hardlight, and Monte Carlo will now only be used for patrols. 2.5 % damage reduction ?! You guys should be more honest.

                          • Companion upgrade is great. However I Feel like its an unnecessary extra step to 1. Transfer to vault 2. Swap player 3. Take from vault Would be much more efficient if in this we could actual just transfer directly to another player. Drop down with move to vault, move to hunter, move to titan etc should be possible On top of this would love for companion app to allow hand in of bouties ans acceptance of new ones. Purchase weapons etc from vendors would also be a great update

                              Seriously, Bungie. If you guys can look at weapon use stats, tell us how many auto rifles are being used post-patch and explain how they're not broken now?
