what is a squeaker to you?
I'm 13 and I'm going through my voice changing stage where I get frequent voice cracks and it's really annoying so I just wanted to know, does this make me a squeaker I don't know. what you would consider a squeaker? When I come across a young kid with the mic right up to his mouth and he's talking loud it just sucks so I wanted to know your guys opinion on when you stop being a squeaker thanks

First of all - welcome to The Change. Every one of us has been through it. I hate all this "squeaker" talk - regardless of your age, if you come across as mature then you are fine with me. Some youngsters are over-eager and think they know it all - or have such baaaaaad language. All I ever ask, and this is for everyone: 1. Be polite. 2. Try not to talk ALL the time - only when it is useful. 3. If things get heated, don't get the hump - it's just adrenalin kicking in. 4. Enjoy the game. I've played a raid with a group of adults, but two were kinds. One was a sword bearer with loads of experience. The other was a kid with no experience. The no experience person proceeded to try to tell everyone how to run the raid, which pissed people off. Anyway - catch you about - and enjoy playing!

It's not about age it's about attitude. I've played with some pretty cool 13 year olds and I remember how weird my voice was so I don't feel the need to shit on every kid who's voice I deem too high pitched. As long as you're cool/polite/fun to play with/not talking every second you'll be fine. You posting on the forum shows enough initiative that I would not consider you a squeaker.

I'm 14, my voice cracks occasionally but I'm not an annoying little kid. I actually know when to shut up and not be annoying. Hell, I don't even act like I'm 14 because I'm just not that much of an idiot. [spoiler]your voice is your annoying factor, your act is what makes you a so called 'squeaker'[/spoiler]

6 AntwortenThey continually list of names of weapons. They think they know better than everyone else. They yell at people when things don't go as planned. They just flat out lack maturity. One of the first randoms I played with was very young with a high pitched voice, but he was respectful and helpful. He would not be a squeaker.

I had 2 young kids on my friends list. Dunno how old, don't care. They just never stop talking and try to tell me how to play this game. I let you join the raid I've already beaten 50 -blam!-ing times because we needed a 6th player and they tell me how to play it. Nope. Deleted from friends list.

Kid who cares about your voice. Just as long as you play good, and dont say annoying shit. If you suck and act really annoying, and higher voice just makes it worst. But even if you had a deep voice, you can still be annoying. Moral: Play good and dont be annoying. And dont worry about your voice.

Squeaky voice AND won't stop talking about stuff. If you are young and just have a squeaky voice, yea, it might be a bit annoying, but i can deal. The ones who don't stfu get booted.

My 8 year old would be a squeaker. He plays a lot of Little Big Planet & it is hilarious to hear him - the guys on my fireteam now realize how serious the world of LBP3 really is. Serious, serious things going on over there - so much so that it apparently requires the favorite phrases of the younger gamers, such as: "get rekt", "git gud scrub", "noob" etc..

A squeaker to me is someone who hasn't grown up at all. Age can be up to the 20s imho. A squeaker to me is someone who is simply annoying and immature.

A squeaker is a kid who has a high pitch voice and doesn't shut up. I have fortunately had few instances of this as I game with a normal crew most of the time, but have been in rooms where a) kids keep trying to talk over everyone b) run around shooting uncontrollably while setting up a plan and c) inviting other friends into the party cluttering up the game chat.

I've met full grown men that are squeakers. Has nothing to do with age and everything to do attitude and what they say. Not so much what their voice sounds like.

Honestly people who call you guys squeakers are just being rude and offensive. Mainly because they will use it as an excuse to rip on you or kick you.

I went through all the Vault of glass last night and the voice thing is not the problem it is that they talk literally nonstop. spam the radio and they just never quit not to mention that they eat in the Mike's and everything else. If you act even halfway mature use the mic for relevant information and don't eat in it pretty much everybody will be fine with you
