Wtf are people doing, stocking up for the apocalypse? Xur has never gone more than 4 weeks without heavy. It's historically about every other week. Aaaand the heavy ammo fix is coming in a damn week... Not gonna be losing all our heavy ammo each wipe. People acting like its the last time he will ever sell it.
Honestly, what are you gonna use 800 synths on? Am I the only one that's done with HM Crota and prefers not to blow all my coins and become a slave to the Weekly Heroic again just to restock?
Its your $ but c'mon... 800? I bought 140 myself and I thought that was a lot
Edit: Mistake on my part. Last time Xur sold heavy ammo was 1/9. So the last 5 times before today that he was in the Tower he didn't have it.
Edit 2: lots o' salty, bitter people here. Shouldn't have expected anything less on these forums. I was just curious, and I got my answer. I get it if you have nearly all the exotics and have hundreds of coins. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
Edit 3: Just so we're clear, I always have heavy when I need it, I lasted the entire Drought of 2015 with heavy to spare, and I am effectively done with HM Crota as of about 10 days ago. Am I the only one that Surpluses?

lol, What else is there to buy? I grabbed a few extra stack for each character and still have 250+ coins, I grabbed it just to be able to play around with heavy when I'm doing strikes/bounties, plus I was bored....

I bought em so I could use heavy whenever I wanted without worrying how many I have left. Had 265 coins to spend so why not?

I got 2 Gjallarhorns since he last sold heavy and have been having to farm glimmer to buy it. I had over 200 strange coins.... I can make it another 5-6 weeks now. :) I'll Gally a single thrall if I want. It's fun for me and none of your business how I play. :)

Nothing winds me up more than hearing some sad sack say 'down to my last pack now!'. Well except maybe, "don't kill that knight - argh, I needed that Orb" - learn to avoid the fire!!

What else am I gonna buy coins with? The only exotic left out there that I can buy is a thunderlord or heart of praxic fire.

Well i work over 40 hours, sorry my time cannot be consumed by farming glimmer and buying snyths. I however had 307 strange coins when this day started, why would i not use them? I have armor i wanted and have for months I havent needed a weapon from xur since like october. Xur doesnt sell anything else worthwhile, why wouldnt i stock up in heavy i have over 500 i can use freely :)

Last time i bought 300 ish and im down to 20 something now unlike some ppl i use synths when i want to make the game less complicated...... also i dont need anythig that xur sells so what else am i to do with strange coins i will buy as much as i have space for ....

A majority of the people purchasing the heavy ammo have nothing else they need to purchase from xur and have 250+ strange coins. Why not stock up? Knowing Bungie's streak with fixing stuff without messing something else up in Destiny. It would probably be smart to stock up on some.
