Secret strike update coming...
If you have read last Thursay's weekly update, DeeJ hinted at an update to the strikes that will be coming in this next update (toward end of update information post). It was very mysterious, and he didn't give details.
I am assuming it is something good/positive, given the minimal info that was provided.
What do you think it might be?

1 AntwortenPersonally, I'd like matchmaking for the Weekly Heroic and Nightfall strikes. I think finding groups should only be for Raids. It would also be nice if one of the updates for Strikes would be to kick people who AFK at the spawn zone; make it where when a player or two reach a certain checkpoint, the person who is behind has 1-2 minutes to reach that checkpoint, or else they'll be kicked. Custom strike modifiers would also be pretty cool; perhaps players can add Juggler or burns to their Strikes. Increased [b]chances[/b] of good rewards would be lovely, but this is Bungie we're talking about (more Shards for everyone).

Hopefully something in the form of being able to do pve with more than 3 people (other than raids of course). What can you do with 4 people besides Pvp and roaming on Venus before going into VoG? Oh wait you can hang out in the tower...

This will prevend people from using a rubber band. Edit: apperently a lot of people here need to pee every 10-20 minutes. If you are one of them you should think about visiting a doctor.

AFK'ers or those who don't leave the spawn area get kicked. That would be the perfect update for strikes. I was playing yesterday and started a Nexus ROC strike and I saw one guy to chat and then start shooting adds in the spawn area. The other guy headed to the servitors and I watched this guy just hanging back. I went into the chat and asked him what he was doing and he said, "Glimmer farming." I said WTF this is a ROC strike?! He laughed and said he glimmer farms and gets the points, marks and engrams faster this way. I just smh and exited.

4 AntwortenI think I may have had the dumbest strike ever. I had 2 bounties Devils Lair and Don't Die in a strike. For speed I clicked the normal level 8 strike. One person dropped out instantly the other managed to die in the mesh room and left. Two more people joined at Sepiks and proceeded to stand in the doorway so the captain spawned. I didn't realise they'd joined so the Captain almost cost me the Don't Die bounty too. And people wonder why I like to play solo...

1 AntwortenHopefully make it so purples actually drop! Did bad juju where you do something like 25 strikes and i didn't get a single good drop or award. Kind of insane to only get them for a nightfall!

5 AntwortenAlthough not strike related, Id like to have rewards on the story missions based on the difficulty. There is no point in doing a story mission on a higher difficulty level than a lower difficulty level

I think it has something to do with the afkers in roc strikes. Or maybe better loot for people that actually contribute in roc strikes

1 AntwortenIf someone is afk when I'm in a strike , odds are they're just sat watching there screen, I just sit down in front of them till they either leave, do the strike or we both inevitably go to orbit, I ain't working for them to get loot, plus I'm stubborn as hell

This will probably never happen but I wish Bungie would make it so people could set up their own private matches and customize it. Such as turning on different modifiers even on normal missions and strikes and being able to invite friends into these and maybe even do this for raids but it doesn't give you rewards if you put on burns. This would add so many things to do with friends. Such as how quickly can we kill Atheon with solar burn, times vengeance, weapons of light and Gjallarhorn?

The strikes are just so played out I can't really see what they can do to get me to run strikes

Next week they are releasing a small update to strikes. It's nothing great but will help with repeats and the repetitiveness a bit.
