If Xur sold Gally then alot of Gally owners would be mad....but why? You only got it because of RNG not skill
I see week after week posts about XUR SELLING GALLY THIS WEEK CONFIRMED...and in it every time i see some people who have Gally are like I WILL QUIT IF HE DOES.
Why though?
Only reason you have Gally is because RNG was gracious to you at one point and time....RNG has nothing to do with skill, it has nothing to do with time played, it has nothing to do with anything except RN.
Please if you are a complainer give me a good reason that it is bad to give everyone a Gally. And I already know the main response will be: IT WILL MAKE THE GAME TOO EASY. My response to that is THEN BREAK YOURS DOWN TO MAKE IT FAIR AGAIN, YOU ALREADY HAD A CHANCE GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A CHANCE WITH IT SINCE YOU WERE ONLY BLESSED RANDOMLY AND NOT REWARDED FOR SKILL

2 AntwortenGjallahorn is a very rare weapon and it should stay that way. If Xur would sell it then the weapon wouldnt be rare anymore. Tier 1 exotics should not be sold by Xur. I have put around 700 hours into this game and Imo i did earn all the exotics I have. The longer you play the more chance you get getting good exotics, so in a way you earn all the weapons you have.

Lol you have 19 crota and 20 vault completions. You don't deserve shit. There's people who have played since day one and don't have it. I want everyone to have Gjallarhorn but I don't want xur to sell it because then it will get a nerf.

Buying a ghorn at xur is more RNG than getting one after beating crota hm (my 2nd one) and beating atheon hm (my 1st one). Gitgudscrubxurwillneversellghorn

12 AntwortenI've got the gjallarhorn and I don't think xur should sell it. I also don't think it should be a drop weapon either. I think it should be a super hard bounty. That way if you have one you deserve one.

what a bore this has been said before i have it but actually i love my hunger of crota. i like variety, people are so fixated on one gun etc. use them all they all do different things.

1 AntwortenRNG in destiny IS a bit skill based though. As i explained in a different thread, most people get their exotics from raids and nightfalls. When you do a raid/nightfall you ARE guaranteed an reward. In raids that could be anything from shards, to armor, weapons, or an exotic weapon. In nightfalls your reward could be shards, energies, coins, legendary weapons, any exotic, or legendary engrams. But no matter what the reward actually was, i earned it because i was sure to get A reward. All rewards are earned then. There will always be people who get them from engrams, or pvp, and that IS luck.

I hope he does sell it. If everyone had one then no one would be left out certain raid groups. Plus the fallout on the forum would be great, some people who have it already would cry for days saying they 'earned' their one.

I don't bring it out in combat situations for fear it'll get scratched. I have a team of ten asian virgin school girls to constantly oil and rub it down. I would be happy for my fireteam. I been saying them to keep a good amount of coins for that situation. Hopefully it will come soon, but I have the feeling it will take 2 or 3 months.

1 AntwortenI wouldnt be mad, I want more guys in my raid teams to have it. Giggityhorn makes a huge difference in hard mode crota. No one should be mad if Xur sells it. Every random you are doing strikes with, people you pickup from LFG in raids will be a better teammate if they have giggityhorn.

2 AntwortenI wouldn't care, 99% of the time I run with a primary or special exotic. It's a good rocket launcher but for most situations it's not worth it.

This topic has really gotten out of hand. Even IGN has decided to make a video on the topic. I wish Bungie (#DeeJ) would go ahead on comment on it and end this endless debate. If Bungie believes that everyone having the chance to buy Gally would break the game and deserve a nerf, then they at least should explain that to the community and be upfront about it. Or if they don't believe that is the case, then again, say that and put an end to all this.
