Bayonet on Carlo and Red Death
Does this bother anyone else? What's the point of having a bayonet on your gun if you don't use it.

4 AntwortenIt's kind of like the katana on the Hayabusa armor, or the combat knife on the CQB armor in Halo 3; it's just for show. Bungie really needs to break that habit... It would be awesome if these guns could have a unique melee animation; one that could work with Storm Grip, Barrier Melee, Blink Strike, Energy Drain, and Scorch. Obviously, there's no way they could make it work with the Throwing Knife... unless you wanna toss the whole gun at your enemies, Tediore-style...

2 AntwortenI would honestly like to see somewhat of a shoulder charge move, in which you run long enough and then you can stab with your bayonet.

5 AntwortenVex and PI both require skill to obtain. You have to either go through a bounty or a hard raid to obtain them, meaning there is much less noobs using them. Although VM is getting on my nerves a bit now.

I can imagine titans saying, "pfft bayonets? Id rather punch stuff instead" and warlocks, "who needs bayonets when we have SPACE MAGIC!!!!"

It would be awesome to be able to Melee with that only after you deplete the mag. It would be activated using your melee button as well.

1 AntwortenI'd like to see a new perk like Agility +2. A faster cool-down to melees, slight increase to range, additional damage, etc., only while held. As long as it doesn't effect PvP dramatically.
