Best way to get the Gjallarhorn!
yesterday I was soloing the nightfall strike Nexus Mind. upon reaching the boss I decided to invite randoms via destinylfg to up my karma a bit (I admit it was also because I didn't want to die and go to orbit because of the Minotaur spawning behind me). After beating the harpy on steroids dude Sekrion I was chanting Gjallarhorn! Gjallarhorn! Gjallarhorn! assuming it would probably just be shards or energies. But as turns out RNGsus was watching over me. He had seen my good deed, and heard my cries and gave me what I so greatly deserved; the Gjallarhorn!
did RNGsus also reward your good deeds this week, or did he put the strength of your faith to the test?
Edit: turns out Gjallerhorn is actually called Gjallarhorn. Hope the gods don't take it away as a punishment!

Both of my Gjallahorns have come out of the exotic chest after the Templar in VoG. Wierd.

I got 8 bloody shards! Lol but I did get ghorn from iron banner and again last week in the nf so i can't complain

My buddy ran sword for first time and got suros it also happened to be the only exotic drop the for our crew the whole raid so start running sword guardians

I got my first from vog exotic chest and a second from the crucible, I was happy the guy on my team that stood in back doing nothing but hump the dirt didn't get it but someone that doesn't have it should've got it

I solo's all the way up to the nexus and was like yeah fūck this minotaur he Will -blam!- me from behind Lets invité Some randoms from LFG... So there we go, we slap his face. Nothing pops up, disappointed as hell; thought oh right, i'll get energies again when we see the breakdown. And there we go, the yellow squares pop up and I finally got my Gjallarhorn and the other 2 got a Hawkmoon which they both didn't have yet. Do a good deed and you'll be blessed by RNGsus!

12 AntwortenActually, it's been proven in a video I didn't record. All you have to do is get the final kill shot on atheon by climbing up high on the top right of the map. Whip out NLB and 1080 no scope in his crit spot. Bam gally every time. [spoiler]sike[/spoiler]

7 AntwortenThe Easiest way to get Gjallarhorn is to delete all your Exotic weapons and the next legendary engram you decript will be Gjallarhorn.

1 AntwortenThe best way is unjinx yourself by wanting something else. I did a normal Crota run yesterday morning purely for a chance at the Hunger of Crota, since it's the only legendary I'm missing from the raid. Crota dropped and so did a Gjallerhorn.
