I may be a level 28, but I progress in real life, not in a video game.
Many people have criticized me for being a level 28 (this is not my main account. My 28 account is on PSN, not XBL), as if somehow that invalidates any arguments that I may have. Well, prepare to have your minds blown. The reason I am not a level 28 is not because I am unskilled, it's because I have actually been progressing in real life, not in a video game. Well, some may say "Well, then who are you to say what should be done in Destiny?"
My answer: I am an engineering major. I am quite literally working with logic (as evidenced by the poorly photographed logic circuit above). It means I can approach issues creatively while also being rational. I do not allow emotion to influence my input, unlike some of you. No, this is not a disparagement. Instead, this is an encouragement for you to be more like me. Evaluate the priorities in your life. If you think having a level 32 is somehow a symbol of prestige, then obviously you have your priorities wrong and can probably expect a fruitful career taking peoples' orders at McDonald's. Meanwhile, I'll be investing in a stable future. Engineers are always high in demand and they get paid well. ^_____________^
Edit: I also don't invest my time in crap. Destiny is crap, therefore I do not invest my time in it. :)
Edit: a lot of people ITT making up fantastical accomplishments with their lives. (excluding me of course. ^_____________^)
Edit: Apparently there is a misunderstanding. I have no desire to brag, but to inspire you guys to raise your standards. You should actually be thanking me for sharing my tenacity.
EDIT: This post only took a few minutes to make. It a not a huge waste of my time, unlike spending 6 hours grinding for a mediocre game. :)
Edit: ok, a lot of people are missing the tags. This topic is a joke, but people are probably going to miss this edit too and make fools out of themselves. :)

1 AntwortenIf you were going to school for something else maybe... Most engineers I know are pompous a$$ hats. They have no real world/working knowledge of what they preach. They pretend to know everything, even when common sense, working knowledge, and real world application, prove their book smarts wrong. For instance 1 gal of water changes 1 yard of concrete by one inch in slump. According to engineering and tech specs. In reality this does nothing. But try convincing the engineer on a job this and watch him be that a$$ hat. If your going to be an engineer, don't be that guy...

I don't see the point in this post. If you are happy with your life and how you are progressing then why do you feel the need to defend your level in a video game? Who cares! It's a video game. It doesn't matter what others think of you, especially a bunch of gamers you don't actually know. Validate yourself dude, don't try to get validation from randoms who don't know you. This post is a desperate attempt to do just that.

Not all engineers are high in demand. Also what if someone is content with have three level 32s in a game? How is there happiness not comparable to yours? You say you work with logic not using emotions, yet reading your post all I can see are the frustrations of a prepubescent child vying for some admiration. Congratulations on studying engineering, don't be surprise when your future job is out sourced. Also no one cares about your character level. Most casual gamers don't play with the "hardcore" crowd. This post is as much a cry for attention as those with the word "girl" in the title. Enjoy your life in a more quiet manner.
