Exotic item Trade With Xur should be added to destiny. I know we're all endlessly searching for that one exotic we wanted since the day we got our copy of destiny(in my case “The Last Word"). Eventually after a grueling amount of strikes and nightfalls you finally get An exotic but it's not the one you want. To address this I belive Guardians should be able to trade exotics with Xur. Now the way this would work is for about 10 Strange Coins Xur will allow Guardians to choose any exotic of their choice, and trade Guardians for one of their exotics. However this can only be done once a month(to prevent a loss to the grind, and allow exotics to keep that well, exotic feeling). You can also only trade exotics by type for example a primary exotic for another primary exotic, exotic chest piece for a exotic chest piece, exotic boots for exotic boots, and so on. This will also give players something else to do with their exotic duplicates and triplets besides break them down for an exotic shard they don't need.
Changes:
15 Strange coins
10,000 glimmer
Exotic weapons bounties excluded, and weapons like the Vex Mythoclast which have to be gotten out the raid
-Alternative-
It is a buff I call Relic Hunter, you buy it from Xur for 5 strage coins and it last one week. It allows to chose a exotic you would like as your next drop, and the next time you get an exotic drop if the buff is active it gives you a 50%chance of getting the one you previously chose at Xur during the buff purchase ... Just lik before no exotic bounty weapons, and no raid exotics like Vex (Note:if you get multiple exotic drops during the week they also have a 50% chance of being your previously chosen exotic until Xur comes back and the buff wears off)

1 AntwortenIf you can only add a feature in the game with limitations, then it shouldn't be in the game. If you have to nerf it before it's placed in game, then it's a piss poor execution.

1 AntwortenNot trying to come off as rude here. But is nobody gonna point out that the fatebringer is not exotic? That coupled with him saying the last word us the exotic he wants, leads me to believe he is a "entitled kid". One of the kids that just wants his weapons/gear handed to him. Tlw has been sold twice, do ur weeklies, save up, check xur, and buy it. Fatebringer can be obtained by running thru vog, maybe once, maybe 50 times. Point being, if u want something, try to go get it. Dont think of ways to "fix" the game so it's easier or more convenient for you.

Honestly trading in this game would be horrible people would a way to duplicate exotics and or sell them for money. Even if its only from xur. And not to be a jerk but the "Relic Hunter" thing is just stupid

There should always be a higher chance of getting Exotics that you dont already own. For example it could start with a 50% chance of getting a new exotic, and this buff could increase by 10% everytime you get one that you already have.

Also very recently ? Maybe check what he sells? He comes on a Friday btw until late Saturday. Good luck he probaly won't sell it for a good few months

12 AntwortenIt would be much better if you could buy exotics with real money in an item-shop. For example 50-100 dollar for Gjallarhorn or Fatebringer.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Vendicta: 2/1/2015 7:37:34 PMYou are not getting Gjallarhorn or Vex so shut up already you filthy peasant !

9 AntwortenCorrect me if I'm wrong but hasent xur sold last word like 3 times? Twice in last 2 months..
-
It should only be for armor. Because if I get the aramentarium from the nightfall as a warlock and I don't have a titan its basically useless to me
-
7 AntwortenNo that's retarded being able to trade NLB for gjallarhorn lol that would take away the Purpose of me, I would just sell weapons to have them traded into me
-
Xur should instantly upgrade exotics for 10 strange coins. You would still need to fill in the nodes.
-
8 AntwortenBuy any exotic of your choice for 150 strange coins. That's how it should be.
-
5 AntwortenIt should cost more than 10 strange coins and should include at least 1 exotic shard, but I like the idea.
-
5 AntwortenIt makes No sense being able to trade a NLB for a Suros
-
1 AntwortenI don't know that this is the best solution but I agree that it would be nice to have a little more control to get an elusive exotic instead of getting the same three (IB, Dragon's Breath, etc) over and over and over again.

20 Antwortenso you're telling me you want to be able to trade a truth/dragons breath for gjallarhorn?
-
1 AntwortenI like this idea! Exotic bounty weapons should be excluded and it could work, but only if you trade in your exotic weapon/armor for a matching exotic engram. It should cost closer to 20 strange coins, around 7,000 glimmer, and an exotic shard.
-
Exotic bounty weapons will be excluded

5 AntwortenYou are dreaming friend They will never allowed that it would kill their subscribe base (or whatever you want to call it) in a week They want you to keep coming back RNG will keep you longer than anything else

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Swiftlock: 2/1/2015 10:57:01 AMThere's not enough content in Destiny to support trading of any kind. Ever. Players would be able to bypass grinding with this system, no matter how many dumb restrictions or caps you try to put on it. Activision doesn't want that. They want you to keep fighting RNG and running on that hamster wheel to make up for the game's small item pool. Plus, people would do absurd things like trade Super Good Advice for Gjallarhorn with this system.

4 Antworten1 month cap and only trade within same class...pretty damn good idea. I like it.
-
3 AntwortenWhile I applaud the thought process, the actual application of this would be a developer's nightmare and would quickly devolve into a disaster. The sheer amount of code in order to accomplish this single idea would probably dwarf a lot of the expansion pass that was just released.

1 AntwortenI was thinking that is too Over powered but I read once a month that actually sounds good Bump
