In a world of Icebreakers, I still love my Patience and Time...what's yours?
I am not at all hating on Icebreaker. I'm glad Xur is selling it so many people can use it. It's legacy is well known and deserved. Enjoy it Christmas Destiny players.
I have to say though that in a world of obsessive Icebreaker owners, I'm putting a little love note out there for my Patience and Time. It's such a fantastic gun that doesn't get its due. Yeah, it doesn't have that cool regenerative ammo thing that his brother has, but boy can he fire fast and he keeps exceptionally calm in all situations. Unloading 12 shots into Atheon during Times Vengenance can be underrated when other snipers might only get 7-10. While not special for the Hunter, we Warlocks can enjoy 10 beautiful seconds of cloaking and usually can get a few shots off before the enemy begins to focus on us. 3rd eye can be a handy perk too in PvP. Throwing in arc damage and Patience and Time has been my goto exotic through thick and thin.
So, what's your exotic that doesn't get a lot of limelight on here but you feel is one of the best? (you can't say G-horn, Icebreaker, or SUROS since those are constantly talked about :) )
EDIT 1: I was told to add Vex and Thorn to the list of those who get plenty of limelight as it is :) Have to agree.

I love Truth. It's my go-to on tough Vex crowds. And I really love firing it into camped zones in Control. I like to watch the enemies go sailing. They try to jump, but there no escaping rounds that aggresively seek the target once increased blast radius is enabled. Heh heh.

My arc Efrideet's spear. It crit once for a 42K during this Nightfall on the spider tank:D Also with the last bullet in the mag I can take down an ultra captain in this nightfall with one shot:D

I probably won't use my IB much just because I love my Thorn and Patience and Time.

2 AntwortenMy favorite non popular exotic is invective. It is the only weapon I know of that can stop a pissed off blade dancer in its tracks. The range is nice the stability is decent and the fire rate almost guarantees a kill. It can also regenerate ammo, and you can still pick up ammo if you find it.

2 AntwortenIt is beautiful isn't it. Honestly idk I probly use ice breaker more often than most (either for actual use or regenning ammo) but something about thunder lord and thorn I really love No land beyond has been a great choice for me as well haha

I love the Red Death. Even before the DLC and Crota End I used the Red Death in hard VOG and weekly and especially nightfall when I needed health fast. People talk about the Suro but the Suro only has a chance to regen health. Red Death gives you health when you get kills every time. It's even better now in Crota End. I don't really like pulse rifles either but how it fires and the damage it does for headshot make it a fun gun to use. I like P&T too and got Ice Breaker for the Grimmore card but my favorite sniper rifles are Black Hammer now and was P. Revenge. I like making enemies explode but the challenge of 3 headshots with black hammer is a fun challenge to try to pull on with groups of enemies. Most people love it for bosses but I've gotten 3 rapid shots on separate enemies standing around.

1 AntwortenFirst random exotic that I got. I've loved it the whole way, though, sadly don't use it anywhere near as much as my IBs. It looks great on my Arctic Proxy rocking hunter, as does most any DO weapon.
