Pasted a portion of the EULA you clicked agree to to play the game.
You bought the car (your PS3/4 or 360/One). You bought a license to use a racing track (Destiny). The company that owns that racing track just expanded on it, and your license fees have gone up to use that new expansion.
You can still use the old track you are licensed for, it's just the weekly racing party might be held on the new track. Oh, and we told you a while back that two new tracks would be coming, and would include content that we use for our weekly events.
I'm not defending it. I for one have bought the expansion pass and I highly enjoy everything I've gotten from it. I wish there was an intelligent way to make the weekly party accessible to all players, but apparently that's not the decision a company neither of us owns made.

And its saying you can't use any parts of there game Commercially as in copy it for your own game.... If it was 'Sold' to you would be able to use the software on the disc and copyist for commercial use.

I don't think I understand, but if they "sold" you the game, I presume that would be a transfer of ownership for the IP, and likely a lot more than $60 retail.

No when you hand $60 over at Gamestop you bought the content of that game for None- Commercial use, you own the disc, the box etc. Buy your only licenced to play the game, you don't own the coding that went into that game.

Actually, of your $60, GameStop gets about $15 of that. $27 goes to the publisher. And you bought the license to play the game. If you don't agree with the EULA, then as a consumer you are responsible to return the product. Also from the EULA you agreed to to play the game. That's got nothing to do with this.... Show me where it says a 3 months after launch you have to buy the DLC Or can not play the game anymore

No where In there does it say upon DLC Release you can no longer play the game you originally paid for This prevents player from reaching a previously accessible feature Car = Destiny Track = Nightfall You bought your car and one week your happily racing on a track you paid for, The next week 'You have to spend half the price of the game to keep driving on the track you already paid for'

This is probably the best explanation of what bungie is doing, the weeklies are extra playlists of harder content, sometimes that content is new content. I get people don't want to lose the chances for but you also haven't continued to support the game. Why should bungie waste expensive programming time to code in content so you don't have to spend money. If you like this game, support the DLC and buy it. If you do not like this game, don't buy the DLC and either accept what they are doing or put a new disc in and play that game. Same thing happens in the real world, you don't like something you stop doing it. Also, it's a collection of purple pixels
