So Is VoG Ussless
Is VoG Useless now considering the weapons are based @ 300 and not 331 i think this is a bit silly that we have no way to upgrade our raid weapons after the hassle of getting them

VoG is moderately useful if you need ascendant materials, or if there are any exotics you don't have yet. However, considering how many things there are to do this week I feel like unless you're short on shards for your tower gear to get to 31 there's no benefit to running VoG over doing ROC strikes, Eris missions/bounties, the new nightfall, and the new raid.

1 AntwortenThe Vault is still awesome for several reasons: 1) If you do the Vault, then you are playing a sweet video game. Nice job! 2) Earning exotic weapons is tits. 3) If you don't like the weapons or gear you receive, dismantle them for exotic shards, and/or ascendant materials. Which reminds me... 4) Ascendant materials will rain down upon your face, guaranteed. 5) There are still many areas of the Vault that hint at possible secrets. 6) Dismantling Chatterwhite because you have so many copies makes you feel like a wealthy king throwing away money.

My Fatebringer kills mobs of thralls in one shot, and was absolutely ripping through stuff in the Arc Burn Nightfall. Also, VoC seems to be the preferred starter primary going into the new raid.

2 AntwortenCan you get the 2.0 version of weapons & armor? If not, then its shards & energies! Or weapons you didnt have lol. You will be able to upgrade your weapon with Xur! :D

I don't care about max power. I still would like an extra Fatebringer for my hunter. But VoG raid armor seems useless. If be nice if there was something special about it.

VOG is good for shards and energy. If the VOG gives me ghorn I will be happy. I will dance all the way to xur on Friday. Also a 300 exotic still dismantles into exotic shards. VOG is also great to show new raiders how a 6 man fireteam works.

Lets not forget you can break down exotics for the shard too. Saving your strange coin.

fatebringer, vex, ascendants.... other than that you are EXACTLY right! Even worse they killed it for newcomers. As a newcomer you got excited to play the raid and hope to get raid gear. You would go into your first raid as a 27-28, now people will be going into the normal raid at 31... hardly any challenge at all! I love the VOG I have full raid gear, and will still do it for fun with my friends, but the reward system is broken.

Vex Mythoclast, upgrade at Xur = should be worth doing Vault of Glitch for.

3 AntwortenIf you get an exotic from the chest in Gorgons Labrynth it maxes out at 300 attack. I'll let you know if Atheon drops an exotic what its max damage is.

For collectors it is still very viable. Gotta catch em all!
