Proof that current legendaries are still useful
I just solo'ed the daily heroic on level 30 with my level 29 hunter. I used a rare level 20 auto rifle at 242 attack, a rare fusion rifle at 221 attack, and a level 17 machine gun at 178 attack. Even with a rare fusion rifle against level 30 enemies, I was one shot killing them. My auto rifle was powerful enough to be useful.
People thinking that these current legendaries will be obsolete are just not paying attention

My Demise is higher attack than my Badger right now. Just working on leveling it. Demise will still be used in crucible.

12 Antworten"Useful" is completely dependent on personal perspective here. I have a lvl 16 green rifle that is USEFUL because I can still kill things with it. But I wont be using that now, will I? There is no excuse Bungie or anyone else can make that will convince me it was a good idea to replace nearly every piece of gear we had. And that is *exactly* what they did.

If you're trying to argue you can do most content with current gear, then yeah obviously you [b]can.[/b] I can clear nightfall with lvl 16 strangers rifle, doesn't mean that it's efficient or a top tier weapon. In a gear based game like this it's all about having the best gear, that's the only reason people spend so much time on it.

Even when we get better gear, the old gear will still have use for deleveling ourselves to play at a certain level in strikes.

How should they be useless? There has to be a way to play with them, since nobody starts with higher legendaries.

They are useful, but they just arent top tier weapons anymore, so given the option the obvious choice is to swap them out for better ones.
