Trading/gifting system proposal:
1. You can only receive 1 legendary or exotic piece of armor and 1 legendary or exotic weapon. You can however gift as much as you'd like.
2. You must be level 25 or higher to trade legendary and exotic gear.
3. You can only trade legendary and exotic gear with clan members. (New bungie.net rule would inhibit "clan swapping" to once a month to help prevent third party profiteering)
4. You can trade rare and uncommon gear for rare and uncommon gear. You can trade legendary and exotic gear for legendary and exotic gear. This means trading weapons for armor and armor for weapons as well. As long as they're in the same trading bracket.
5. You can trade shards for energy and energy for shards.
6. You can trade materials for materials (spinmetal, spirit bloom, etc)
7. Ammo synthesis can always be traded or gifted. (It helps when one guy forgets to buy some then we go on a mission where I have 30 and he has none. Yea I'll give him one so I don't have to wait for him to tower hop)
8. All traded weapons and armor have all experience removed upon trade. Even if they were maxed out by the person you were trading with, you have to earn the experience yourself.
9. Players are limited to 1 trade per day. (Again, to inhibit third party profiteering)
10. Motes of light, exotic shards, and strange coins are still unable to be traded.
11. Common items can always be traded or gifted.
12. Only level 25 or higher players can gift rare or higher quality items. All players can receive gifts. You can always receive rare or lower quality gifts. For legendary and exotic gifts see #1.
This system would ensure all players trading would still be earning legendary and exotic items themselves apart from their 2 gifts they can receive. It would inhibit to the point of all out stopping third party profiteering. It would ensure that farming for trading would be kept to a bare minimum due to the amount of trading restrictions. There are several other benefits but my lunch break is over.
This system would be effective Bungie. Please consider it.

Bearbeitet von Hubz: 12/4/2014 5:56:44 PMTrading will never be a feature of the game. It'd ruin it, why would their be a point in running raids and doing nightfalls then? You wouldn't earn anything and there would be no reason to play if you had everything.
-
Would you trade raid gear for garbage? Maybe if you had a surplus of it and seriously, who does?
-
True but I'd still rather earn my rewards instead having them giving to me. My opinion everyone's different.

There would be a reject gift option. I mean you could only get 2 good ones so why just be stuck with garbage? Just hit reject gift. And if you're high leveled like I am I don't think you'd even be getting offered gifts. You could still play your way. But not all players are as skilled, which is simply a fact of life. Obviously those players wouldn't stand a chance in the new raid even with the right gear, so they'd never make the prestigious new level. Just have to remember a lot of people only play in their spare time and have lives to attend and children to take care of. I don't think it's fair to leave these people completely behind. They paid for the game same as the rest of us.

It used to be there. It was cut out.

2 legdendary or exotics a week maximum other wise people will plow through everything in no time other than than its quite an acceptable pitch
