New Way To Do Templar!
So I figured the best way to do the Templar (FULLY BIASED BY ME) is to have two people jump down. One needs to be able to solo an oracle on hard and the other needs to be the highest level. The highest level NEEDS to be able to one shot the harpies. The other four people are going to stick top and snipe the oracles.
Job of the Relic holder. Assist with the oracles and kill harpies for easy and quick supers. constantly knock the Templar shield down with the super and keep moving to get super fast. The man who jumped down with the Relic holder needs to have constant vision of left hidden (or relic holder can be in charge of it).
The people up top need to keep sniping the oracles and when the shield is knocked down of Templar you need to hit him HARD. I was able to do this strategy first try as the shield bearer with 3 29's and 3 30's.
Give it a try guys, seems to work a lot.

16 AntwortenOr you could have a Hunter jump down, grab the relic and get back to the top. Yes it is possible for the Hunter to jump back to the starting platform

4 AntwortenHow about one guy gets the relic, supers the Templar, goes and stands in his teleport spots while everyone up top kills the Templar. Job done.

Yeah that's how me and my team roll, we thought of it and did it in 1. Definitely the best way. Who's cares about a couple shards or energy now if your doing the hard raid.

2 AntwortenBetter, less cheesy method: The relic holder and one other person take the left side. They handle the oracle and the relic holder kills harpies for energy. The other four guardians take the right side. My clan has found this to be the best, legit method of taking down the Templar on both difficulties.

4 AntwortenIncase you don't know. You can see every single oracle from the top. Yes even the two back ones. So you just need 5 people to sit up top and snipe. The relic holder just has to stay in the hole until his super is ready then he comes out to take the shield, kill some harpies. Rinse and repeat.

We had one guy go down a grab relic all it took was one guy on hard... we were all level 30 of course

The relic holder should kill harpies for more super energy. One guy can go down and shoot back left oracles so guys up top don't have to squeeze into that right corner. The main thing is to have people down help with oracles as much as possible so people up top can DPS the Templar. If people up top is using too much sniper on oracles, the dps won't be as effective unless everyone up top uses rockets or ghorn.

2 Antworten5 up sniping and relic carrier below killing harpies for fast super and relaying when he's dropping shield so the 5 can prepare for max dps seems to be the most efficient way at the moment.

Yep this is the exact strategy my team used last night and it works perfectly fine speed is the key you can't take your time on it you have to be fast the relic holder has to be able to knock it off every single time he has a special. One additional player can go down there and focus directly on the left hidden Oracle.

This is an old strategy....my team was doing this after they patched the sniping rock before pushing him off was so well known.

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Tekn0z: 12/3/2014 4:40:00 PMWe figured this ourselves earlier too. In fact, you should be able to do this with just 1 relic holder down there, and 5 people up top sniping. The relic holder takes care of the hidden left oracle, kills harpies and takes down the templar shield. The rest of the team snipes all other oracles and then damages the boss when shields are down.

2 AntwortenI made a post about this exact strategy earlier. This worked great for my team last night. It takes longer but it's pretty safe in terms of getting rid of oracles. It took us about 8-9 minutes to kill the Templar using this.
