I think the Vex rifle should stay a atheon hard kill only, to me the gun is a status symbol and lets everyone know I killed atheon me I was able to get my vex on my first atheon kill on hard and its not really that hard to find groups to kill atheon just need to have people that know what to do and have the weapons to kill him fast

Actually, let me take a different approach. I have done the hard raid over 20 times, and they have all been legitimate runs. Never got the chance to push Atheon off the edge. I have a fully upgraded Gjallarhorn, I do about 85% of the damage to Atheon, and guess what my rewards have been? Let's see here, shards, energy, more shards, oh look, there's some more energy, and about 15-18 Aspect of Glass ships.

Do you have any idea how low the drop rate is for that weapon...?
