Just can't wear IB gear....
I've been a level 30 since week two. I have multiple sets of 30 armor. I like the look of the iron banner boots a lot. However I feel if I wear them they will make me look weak like the rest....
Edit: I got Destiny one week after release and I was a 30 at the end of my second week.

Wear them, if somebody starts going off about how they're 'garbage', give 'em a one-fingered salute and respond with one word. "Versatility." I don't seek anybody's approval, I'm still working on getting VoG armor, just need the body for 30. I loathe people saying I'm 'weak' when I've done VoG more than most, and don't have every single item to show for it. The stats on my Iron Regalia boots are better than the Kabr's boots. Better in the Discipline/Strength department. But I keep Kabr's simply for the versatility of extra heavy ammo. If you star worrying about what OTHER people are going to think just because you're wearing stuff you want to wear, you're basically not playing the game for yourself. Not Edit, Just Sarcastic: Getting to lv30 on your second week isn't bragging-material, just shows you got lucky, seriously.

I'm level 29 and nothing makes me more happy than to own level 30's in IB and tea bagging them multiple times afterwards...

2 AntwortenYea, I'm in the same boat. Totally have the Raid Helmet I got on my first Hard Raid, while riding my Timebreaker and Aspect of Glass across the universe from my first two raids. Then pull out my MythoClast from my first Hard Raid. All those things on my FIRST Hard Raid. My friends are such scrubs doing it every week since launch and only having Gauntlets. I'm so much better WHOOAHHAHAH! Can't wait to buy the Iron Regalia Armor just to destroy it cause it shows so much weakness.

Lol IB takes work and time to get the gear and in only a one week time frame.... I'm all for getting gear from either raid or IB or even using one exotic the one that really irritates me is making say 3 hunters and moving gear around or making say a titan and speeding it to level 20...giving it your main titans gear then doing all the weekly goodies deleting it and starting over that is lame to me

3 AntwortenEveryone can do the raid on normal or hard... Not everyone can handle getting there asses kicked in iron banner and then coming to cry on the forums about how unfair it is. So the same could be said that people that are 30s with only raid gear are weak and pathetic.

31 AntwortenIMO there are two different kinds of lvl 30s 1) those who did the raid numerous times to get their gear. Always grinding away and finally getting the RNG to work in their favor. Not giving up. 2) scrubs who use "OP" weapons and cheat and play dirty in the IB because they can't handle the raid. And got butthurt bc their friends got the raid gear and they didn't Raid gear ftw! Raid armor is superior to IB armor. We are the true lvl 30s #suckit

Don't feel bad at all for wearing it... My warlock has been at 29 for over a month because the raid won't give me a helmet. My Titan/2nd character hit 30 first still no helmet though. A little worried my hunter/3rd character will hit 30 before my warlock. HaHa

Well depending on your preference man just wear the gear you want. Hell I did the IB just for the cape bc it looks sexy. Idc what others say. Honestly I rather grind on PVP and get to a certain rep which I get guarantee armor instead of going to play endless VOG each week and hopefully get lucky they will drop something good.
