This is what will make me stop playing destiny
It woulnt be the repetitive gameplay or boring farming...it will be the lack of gear given in the hard raid ! Realistically i dont have a problem with randomized loot...it keeps things interesting and somewhat addictive not knowing what youll get off random drops or tiger strikes nightfall ect. Even the normal raid...but im stuck at 29, last week i got a pair of raid gloves on normal..then ANOTHER pair on hard...both on the templar,in the same week !! Thats broken...im sorry but keep random gear everywhere, fine, but if you finish the hard raid in 3 consecutive weeks at 29...which is no easy task considering goblins can kill you with 2 shots...better rewards should be guaranteed. ..i was with a guy yesterday who ran the raid 3 times !!! He had no idea what legions or the spirit bloom room was, who died instantly making it even harder on the rest of us...well he got 2 DIFFERENT pieces of raid gear,a thunderlord from a chest and the fatebringer from the templar on his first hard raid thats a broken system...the fact that this subpar mediocare player at best makes me sick...and that will make me stop playing this game into which ive invested soooo much time...anyone who responds to this and dosent aggree...u either got all your gear or u dont run the hard raid at lvl 29

I'm lvl 30 with an exotic but I want my final raid gear so that I can swap exotics and still remain lvl 30 but nope of all the times I did the hard raid I haven't got it once. Ive got 4 raid helmets, 4 raid gloves and 3 raid boots. But have yet to ever get a chest. How is that possible???

7 AntwortenYou are correct I don't normally run the hard mode with my 29 (I have tried but it's freaking hard and requires a team of 30 to carry you). That being said you don't have to run hard mode to get to thirty. If you must run normal get three lower tier pieces and an exotic helmet. It may not be the set up you want run but will get you to 30. Then if you still want the helmet ull at least have a 30 to run it with. I also realize that it can still be quite a challenge to get the necessary gear to do it this way well. I must confess that I wouldn't be opposed to certain changes maybe rewards at least partly based on skill or on perhaps each week gain albit small increases to the percent chance you have of the gear your missing or something. If the people reach thirty are your grinds though you should be happy for them it just means you have more people to carry you (not intended as an insult) Good luck.

13 AntwortenI agree. I have over 350 hours or so in this game I think. Maybe more. I'm stuck at lvl 29 as well. I bought my brother this game so we could play together since we don't get to hang out as much anymore. He has been playing for about a month. I have done the raid on normal at least 8 times now and gotten about half way through the hard a couples times. He has been raiding with me for 2 weeks now. In those two weeks he has gotten a chest piece and gloves. I have gloves and boots. He is gonna get lvl 30 any day now because of the iron banner boots. I am stuck rolling the dice for my chest piece or a helmet if and when I ever beat a the on on hard. Don't get me wrong I'm happy for my brother. I just think someone who has literally 1/6th the playtime and experience I have shouldn't be able to pass me by in lvl simply because of lucky drops. I know others out there have done the raid way more than me and have even less to show for it. Short of having a raid vendor. I think they need to redefine the loot tables for the raid. Remove shards and energies altogether. And maybe even tighten up the tables for each boss. Make it so all boss can drop the armor pieces but only certain ones drop certain weapons. This will make the tables smaller and increase the chances for armor pieces. Or maybe even have a weekly rotation where a specific piece gets a higher chance of dropping. Idk just my thoughts on the matter.

5 AntwortenSame boat, stuck at 29.... With three characters. That's why I'm grinding out iron banner matches. I think at least one piece of raid armor should be guaranteed in at least the hard raid if not both. Or just leave the iron banner up for a month instead of a week

3 AntwortenRNG everywhere is not game design but retarded. Each Player should have a raid table where all unique items get removed when he gets them. You can only get the next time you run the raid one of the objects that is left in the table. If the table is empty the game rolls the dice on a standard loot table. It's rather easy to program if you have full control of the sourcecode, but maybe either the devs are retarded or the dev kit does not allow it for some reasons or they just love to kill some friends pf their game and want less happy customers. It's also useless to have drop green armor for lvl 18 and above players. Stupid game design.

Unfortunately idiots getting the good stuff is bound to happen from time to time, and you are going to notice it far more than the good guy getting it. I am a fan of the token approach rather than pure RNG. I'm just not a lucky guy.

5 AntwortenSo you want a system that gives you gear cause you say you pull more then the next guy?...LOL...the way you described your issue the system isn't broken it's random...just like it says...I've complete normal raid twice. .got my gear both runs...jump on hard...boom...helmet. ..which I don't use cause perks on the exotic suit me bettee..plus looks cooler...LOL...May be what needs to happen is the gimmicks taken out of the raid. ..like ships...I do not see the point of them at all to be honest for the simple fact they are pretty much useless. I do agree with you so don't get all huffy responding...loot system needs a better system...but to say in a team effort one should get less...that's stupid...I will say this. ..if you want to level a hunter quick past lvl 20...level a titian. .LOL...same goes for a titian. ..I've gotten full sets of Hunter gear on my titian and same on my hunter..lol

1 AntwortenI'm almost level 29 and can't wait to do the hard mode raid. I'm a little worried after reading all these parts of people being sick at 29. I feel you should get one piece of raid gear every time you beat the raid. People would still raid after that for the guns and energy/shards. Don't know why they have to make it completely random in the raid. There is a chance some will never get to thirty that way.

To be entirely fair...last week atheon gave me the sparrow and mythlocast...so thats cool but i wanna be 30 b4 expamsion soooooo -blam!-ing bad....and in a month a 10 days ive put 5 WHOLE DAYS in this game

2 AntwortenI have one lvl 30 one 29 and one 28 I run the hard raid multiple times a week My only gripe is that I get more ships and sparrows than I know what to do with If i beat atheon on hard i deserve more chances at raid gear and not just the helmet

Took me 9 for my titan ( hards, lost count of the normals) and only took me 1 normal and 2 hard for my warlock. It truly is random.

6 AntwortenThis just happened last nite. My best friend is probably least capable player on the team that ran last nite. Fatebringer on the Templar. Me, experienced, ran multiple times, pulled my weight the entire time...shards. The whole time, save for 3 energies out of a chest. I think it's time to take a break and reevaluate exactly why it is that I've sank over 400 hours into this game.

If u dont do normal u will get get 2 hard mode drops at each loot drop. If u do normal you are hurting your chances. I know this because i recieved 2 helmets from atheon in one drop the other day.
