Worst End to a Game? EVER?
I JUST finished the game with my friend, and I realized; that end was pretty garbage. After working our butts off for 45 minutes, we came to the end cutscene.
I love how you can go to your character screen while the "important" cutscene is rolling. Then your given a tiny speech about there is more out there (2nd Game, DLC).
Then your given a crap gun, and when you turn in your rewards from the mission you get 200 glimmer, and 1 mote of light (which I allready had 3 of).
I would expect more from a company that made the all-mighty Halo (343 made it good), which had some great endings.
If this isn't the worst ending, than what is? Comment your answer.

Mass effect 3 takes the cake for me, or Gears of War 3's we have a weapon that kills all the bad guys ending. Halo 2's ending pissed me off, but not because it was bad, but because of the cliffhanger.

I started playing CoD:AW and haven't even finished the single player campaign, because Destiny was just such a superior game in comparison. The worst ending is the one you can't be bothered waiting for.

Super Mario Bros. 2 (I know it wasn't an ACTUAL Mario) - Cliché KOTOR 2 - booooorrriiiiiinnng and just kinda bad. Halo 2 - if you thought the joker card at the end of The Dark Knight was a good ending..... you probably liked this garbage too. A cliffhanger is not an ending. Mass Effect 3 - Star Child = F U C K YOU Borderlands - Entire objective is to get into the vault. Beat the final boss. Vault is irrelevant. Destiny - Now that I finally have time to explain why I don't have time to explain .......... I'm not going to. Enjoy the gun that LOOKS like it does arc damage. BUY DLC!

Actually it is not the ending it is the beginning as the metal chick said when she gave you, her rifle. Bungie staff have been watching LOTR and The Hobbit so we will be getting more half endings in future Destiny releases. I predict Destiny will raise more questions then answers before it is over. Just like The Matrix trilogy.

3 AntwortenI have not and never will finish the story. I only slaved through it to get all the planets unlocked. As soon as I got mars I was done. Not that anyone cares but I dont play games for the story. I have never found story in any game remotely interesting. Except uncharted, that has a pretty good story but I never finished it. Nolan Norths voice kept me playing that game.
