Yeah when has trading ever made a game better, or had an impact on one. Oh wait, wow, guild wars need i say more? Yeah trading and adding a market makes the game better. Why is everyone so against it, the only times it's bad is when real money is involved. I honestly don't see why it's so bad, we already have xur in this game so loot isn't as horrid. Also how many of your friends play the same class you have, and are willing to trade that item they got to you.
A trade system would be a great idea, and help this game out. Because as it stands it isn't a loot based game it's a grind game with maybe one item per week. To me that's bad look at other games with grinding invovled. You get rewarded decently diablo, borderlands etc. Also both of them have trading and a market surprise!
Also with the new system somethings will have to be balanced, like adding more worth while stuff for glimmer, and removing that stupid cap of 25k glimmer. Like seriously why is that even there? A trade system will make it better otherwise, it just doesn't feel as real. We are suppose to be legends and make our own story, well what if i want to become a big corporation and sell to the masses. You could become a legend in that field of business to :3.

Blizzard removed the auction house from Diablo 3 because it was taking away from the vision they had for that game. Specifically in the sense that they wanted people to earn their gear rather than just buy it.

But they still can trade there gear, if i remember right well in a set amount of time. Like 2 hours if i remember correctly.
