What is with all this nonsense.

1 AntwortenDestiny isn't flopping. It was the biggest new IP launch in gaming history & started turning a profit 5 days after release. I mean, you do know what flop means, don't you?

I think you hit the nail on the head. Too damn grindy for not enough reason.

I think this is the one game that can actually convert casuals. My friend and I had a conversation about this subject. We were talking about the raid and how it's like a backdoor entry point for casual FPS players to get serious about something as intense as the raid. Since you're generally supposed to take on the raid with friends, it gives casuals the incentive to get better and to take part in something massive (in their eyes, anyway.) I don't know too many casuals who are willing to run solo through a Halo game on Legendary (apples and oranges, I know...), but those same people who real genuine interest in the raid because it's a group activity they feel they can be a part of.

There's no endgame. And judging from the DLC, they're just more low level missions (which all boil down to: A. Deploy Ghost. B. Go to Destination. C. Kill mobs. D. Repeat for every mission). They said the game began at 20, that was a bold-faced lie. There's literally nothing to do after 20. It's the end, not the beginning. Can't wait for Sunset Overdrive to release next week.
