I think there should be a way to earn marks for raiding that allow you to purchase raid gear. I think this would solve a lot of problems and the hard raid gear could be locked for purchase until you have completed it once. They could use the gunsmith vendor for all I care as long as we have this option. Many people are not blessed by RNG luck and this would allow them to be rewarded anyway for multiple completions of the raid. Please take some time and put a sig on this if you can or add any further interesting ideas.
Edit: I have all the raid gear except the vex. I have had all of it for weeks. I have completed the raid every week on both hard and normal. I am simply suggesting this to help others that might not be so lucky.
Edit: This game should not have to extend its content with a poor reward system. I feel there is enough to do in this game to keep people playing without punishing them for not being lucky.
Thanks!

11 AntwortenThis isn't a poor reward system, go grind out WoW for a month looking for one piece of raid gear and come back to me. This idea is ludicrous, RNG is part of the game model. If you want to buy weapons go play CoD, I'm truly sick of all the RNG whining.

Bearbeitet von cormyre: 11/5/2014 8:15:10 PMThis absolutely needs to happen. -silver raid marks (normal) -gold raid marks (hard) -every piece of gear and weapons available in the normal loot table require silver raid marks -every piece of gear and weapons exclusively in the hard loot table require gold -Max 50 marks a week of each type
-each run would net you 10 marks from Atheon, 5 from Templar and 2 in each chest (except the spirit bloom one of course) - would mean multiple runs, giving players something to do and more of a point in learning the pretty awesomely designed level
-ok to keep with the 4 checkpoint system, each checkpoint nabs you 10 points, Atheon nabs you 20 -arms, body, legs = 50 silver marks (one per week seem pretty fair for me since it took 3 weeks to get the pieces I needed to hit 30 [with an exotic helm of course] -helmet = 70 gold marks (since helmets always seem to be more expensive) -Vex Mythoclast = 150 gold marks -Hawkmoon = 100 gold marks (PS only of course...) -Atheons Epilogue = 150 silver -Vision of Confluence = 100 silver -Pradelyths Revenge (or whatever the sniper is called) = 70 silver -All other weapons = 50 silver (I mean does anyone ever really use the shotty or rocket launcher on oracles? lol) I'm not sure what the breakdown on the ships and sparrows would be, since no one really cares about the ships, and barely care about a sparrow that has a chance of exploding on you... ...and chatterwhite, by this point should be available for 1 glimmer from the raid vender just as long as you've completed the vault once. Update : Didn't realize the strike command didn't work here so spoilered the original thought for the mark breakdown instead.

Signed I raided EQ2 for 7 years tokens for your time spent only makes sense!!! Easy fix is you get X amount of tokens per boss killed. You buy raid armor from a vendor that gets your light level to cap BUT have rare raid armor drop in the raid with awesome extra perks that you can't get from the vendor to keep people chasing the raid for those rare harder to obtain pieces. I have 3 characters and run the raids every week with only 2 armor pieces so far it really feels like a waste of time to not get what I need due to RNG. A little reward for time spent is not a lot to ask for.

3 AntwortenOk I need this. 12 runs no vex. This is getting out of hand.

Bump. Rng my ass. Player needs x piece of gear. Loot table = everything but x.

Since everything in this game is spoonfed to you, I see no problem with this

Signed, though honestly there isn't that much to do unless you really enjoy playing with friends. Which I do, but anytime I do stuff solo, I just wanna stop and do anything else.

5 AntwortenWhile this would be great for us--the customer--it would be horrible for Bungie/Activision. The RNG keeps us coming back every week to try and get the one piece of gear we need. If we had that piece of gear then there'd be no need for us to log-in "for 3 hours per day." If we're not logging in then we're not buying the DLC. If we're not buying the DLC Bungie/Activision cry. The RNG is there to keep you playing a game that is fundamentally broken and has very little content in it.

I'd have to disagree with a straight up raid vendor. Instead I'd rather see an overall increase to chances for loot while pieces you already have receive a penalty to their chance of dropping. You're right about the current system needing a fix, but I just don't think raid gear should be available for purchase. Bounties exclusive to the raid perhaps?

Armor should be a guaranteed drop or easily gotten from vendor after raids. RNG should be weapons and ships and stuff
-
All I can say is welcome to raiding. Sometimes you get the drop you want on the first go. Sometimes it's the twentieth try. This is nothing new.

They never listen to petitions but I'll sign anyway. Woo...

Signed. Only cos I've been banging on about this for weeks now.

You kill atheon, not push him off, and xur shows up with raid gear. Y can pick one only per completion per week per difficulty. Easiest way to allow guardians to 'choose their fate.'
