How should I help this girl?
There's this girl I know, she's a pretty "unique" person. Anyway long story short she had to shave her head and now people are being assholes to her
I'm in marching band on leadership, but I was sick and couldn't show up today. Apparently she had left without telling anyone and is on the verge of quitting. Later the drum major texted me saying that she left because she didn't feel appreciated and everybody is mean to her.
I texted her to let her know that she's a great person and avery important, and no surprise she hasn't responded back. I'll try to talk to her tomorrow but I need advice on what to do. Also, should I go around telling people to leave her alone? Or would that make things worse?

2 AntwortenQuite simply if she's genuinely feeling bullied and penalised she won't respond to anyone, even those being nice to her. The only way to overcome this is openly defend her. That doesn't mean the odd text or on facebook either, go tell the rest of the band to shut the -blam!- up.

First of all... Screw those a holes and second of all you should support her. There's no reason they should make fun of her especially if there's a good reason for shaving her head. Stand up for her and make sure she knows that she's still appreciated!
