Disappointment
I am excited for the game but im not sure how it will be. I can't wait for this hype to die off quickly when Destiny turns out to be horrible. Then the disappointment sinks in.

Yeah, hype trains tend to get derailed if they can't slow down on the turns.

Alright so we had great feedback from people who "played" the alpha.... So if we get enough great feedback again from people who "play" the beta..... I think it will be safe to assume the full release will be great too

7 AntwortenI played the Alpha on PS4 and I can honestly say I had a blast with limited access to the entire game. I think I played the same two levels for like 10 hours and the two Crucible maps for another 5. I've been a PS user pretty much my entire gaming life so far and have no comparison to Halo, but my prediction is that there's going to be a lot of very happy people. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. What do you feel is wrong with the game or over hyped considering the limited access everyone has had to it so far?

3 AntwortenWhen I saw the first videos of Destiny, I didn't get a good feeling about gameplay and so far the alpha has backed that up. Reminded me a lot of Halo, particularly the first time I had the public event in the alpha with the ship dropping troops off. I instantly thought to myself, this is just like Halo and felt that way every time a Destiny public event occurred as I replayed that scenario so many times in Halo 1 - 3. Then you have aliens all over the map just standing around waiting for you to shoot them. Nothing interesting there. While others are tired of military shooters like COD, I'm tired of sci-fi shooters like Halo and Destiny's alpha was right there. So have to wait and see what the beta brings. So far all you see is about collecting stuff and multiplayer maps with nothing new there. But whatever one may feel, Destiny will sell big. Hype train for it is huge. Time will tell if keeps folks interested in the game for the long run. Hopefully you are giving the beta a try. I am.
