Let's get this straight...
I am on Xbox One. Also played most of the Halos and all that good stuff. While I am excited to share the world of Destiny with PS this has gone a little far and some* of you guys calling us butthurt fanboys and acting like it's all good are hypocritical to the point of hysterical laughter. Most of us may have gone a bit too far with the excessive riot complaining, but their words carry merit. As we aren't just part of the community but THEE original community. Even I, who am not overly attached to the Halo franchise am starting to feel a little irritated. At first it was cool little things (i.e early beta and timed content), but after the Sony press it's clear the game is clearly being marketed for PS ONLY. If you go watch the Sony conference he says "Exclusive Strike, Weapons, Armour, and More"( with no mention or word from anyone [especially Bungie] about it being timed )<----- this, is a problem. I won't get into small details but some of you guys just need to imagine what the frustration is like on this side. Most of us have our jaws dropped on the floor, some have given up entirely and now with this, it's understandable. And before the devils advocates come, I know it "might" not be Bungie's fault and I'm not saying there is anyone to really blame at this point. So thee eff what?? It still doesn't feel right or good whatsoever. I am not asking much PS guys, just try to understand and not act like such dicks about it and rub salt in the wound with the "deal with it" attitude.

2 AntwortenYou have no one to blame for deals like this ever getting done but Microsoft. They started all this crap with buying exclusivity for DLC, timed exlcusives, etc.., because their in-house first party studios suck so they needed 3rd party titles to sway buyers into buying the 360 (Halo games excluded. They were all great). This all started with GTA IV, then spread to COD, et al. During the days of the PS3 Sony wouldn't play ball. Now that they are people have a problem with it. I personally don't care for these exclusive deals myself. I don't truly believe that any real PS fan does, especially after what we went through last gen. If they do they are seriously jaded and need some help. I just call BS when I see it. Now that all you Xbox fans are having to deal with just a taste of what us PS gamers went through last gen, SONY is more of the devil than they already were to you and nothing is fair. You have been the haves for so long that you are spoiled and can't get a grip and come to terms with being the have-nots. You also have no one to blame but Microsoft for Xbox gamers being the have-nots after 2013's E3 debacle and message. They have had to go back on everything they said; always online, no used games, must have Kinect, and so on. Not to mention that Microsoft is not a hardware manufacturer and they shipped an over-priced, under-powered machine. Numerous websites with first-hand knowledge of how the cloud works tried to get you to see that the "Cloud" was a bunch of BS, but you bought all of MS's corporate smoke blown up your asses like it was the word of God. If you notice the "Power Of the Cloud" was not mentioned once during this year's E3. I know that Microsoft came in and bought Bungie and paid the costs for the Halo games, but if not for Bungie's creativity in making a kick-ass game and ground-breaking networking expertise (the entire backbone of Live is borrowed from Bungie and Halo), there never would have been an Xbox 360 or Xbox Live. The original Xbox would have failed more than it did anyway and Microsoft would not still be in the console business without Bungie. The Halo games are soooo good that people put up with the horribly made original 360 to the point that most people went through between 2 -4 consoles because of the RROD (points once again to MS being a software, not hardware company) just to play Halo. My point is Bungie and Halo made the Xbox brand what it is, not the other way around. Did you buy an Xbox or Xbox 360 because of Halo or the other way around? If you bought an Xbox or 360 because of Halo, Bungie does not owe you nor Microsoft anything. Especially when Microsoft is about to milk the hell out Bungie's blood, sweat, and tears (Halo's 1-3) and Bungie won't see a dime in royalties from the Master Chief Collection. Your anger and frustration are misguided with everyone you are trying to blame for your supposed slight. It is not the fault of Bungie, SONY, nor Activision. The blame lies 100% with Microsoft!!! Well, guess what, life isn't fair. It never has been and never will be. You just got to learn to let it go. I am as passionate as anyone about video games but they are just that; Games. They are not life and death or the destroyer of self esteem that you guys are making this Activision / SONY / Bungie partnership out to be. If any of this has destroyed any of your self esteem, you seriously need to step away from gaming and re-evaluate your lives and values.

3 AntwortenLets get this straight. Bungie really has no choice in the matter. They are receiving ACTIVISIONS MONEY. If they want that money to publish their game then they have to do what ACTIVISION says. Naturally Activision is going to give PS the exclusive rights because their other multimillion dollar brand COD has Xbox exclusivity. It's just business I doubt Bungie really cares what system gets exclusive rights they just want to see the COMMUNITY enjoy their game so stop complaining. If you want exclusivity go buy the right console.

The only reason they're allowing us playstation players some benefits is because previously bungie's triple A games have been exclusive for x-box. With the creation of Destiny They need to reach out into a new market. That new market is the untapped potential of allowing playstation players to play the game. What better way to show the playstation members ,that could not partake in previous games, by giving them some small exclusive content to welcome them to bungie's family. I personally have never played halo due to not having the availability nor desire to purchase an X-box. However I heard that when halo was in its prime it had a large community backing it up and supporting one another. I want Destiny to have that same feel as well as I want to be a part of that! These exclusives are made to influence skeptical ps players to give bungie a chance and that's just a fantastic way to get the community together. bungie may have grouped us together but it's up to us its embers to make this community a good one. We shouldn't hate on one another but rather support others ideas and creativity. It doesn't matter if your Xbox or Playstation because we are all one community! I know that's a lot to ask from the internet but I believe that we collectively can make Destiny Legendary. Both in game and community!

7 AntwortenDoesn't matter... They get a strike and a map and some low-level gear. We (xbox community) get every Numbered Halo in there original engines including every single multiplayer map for every game including some extra HALO: CE maps from PC. Yeah I'd say xbox is still putting out the things fans want... The best things playstation had to show was The Order 1886 (2015) and BloodBorne (20??) so there biggest exclusives don't even drop this year. Enjoy that 4 day Beta and that Alpha for the weekend.

7 AntwortenLet's take the Halo history out of the equation. Honestly it's not much of a factor since this is a brand new game. Xbox One owners do have the right to be angry. It is a crappy situation to know that a game you bought will be slightly different then than the one a friend bought on a PS4. If it's that upsetting though, there are solutions. A) Buy a PS4 B) Trade in your Xbox One, and buy a PS4 Other than that, you have to kinda roll with the punches. As a gamer, the choice is yours.

1 AntwortenIt's understandable for the XBone users to be upset. I understand that yall are the original community. But also remember that the ps community NEVER got anything from the HALO franchise. I played HALO with friends who had xbox but would of loved to have played it on ps. I don't think it fare to do exclusives for anyone, why can't we all get the same games, content an we can all have fun!!

Bungie released Oni on PS2 before microsoft had even released the first Xbox, and yet the xbox community claims bungie as their own, and throws a hissy fit when the shoe is on the other foot. Yeah, exclusivity sucks, but you didn't care when it didn't affect you. Stop trying to take some kind of moral high-ground when there isn't any to take. It is what it is, so just deal with it like grown ups and keep your wits about you.

10 Antwortenok i understand what you said and as someone that has never cared for arguing through a computer please talk with me so i can undersstand. when bungie and MS conduct buisness and halo is only for xb, forever, its never coming to PS, its fine, just buisness, whatever you want to call it, but if bungie conducts buisness with activision/sony and gives PS users exclusive stuff and still allows the XB community in on this amazing and ambitious game, why is it a problem exactly?

5 AntwortenI dont like it either as a longtime Xbox fan (switched to PS4 but considering getting Xbox with the Master Chief Collection) however Bungie is not to blame. Activision and Sony are. Sony helps market the game (and give shittons of $$$ to Activision) in return for exclusive content.

8 AntwortenI am almost hoping that Bungie releases a statement saying "Stop your tantrum now, or you don't get any Beta!" The reaction from the Xbox community (most, not all) is childish and embarassing. It is disappointing that we can't play the Alpha on our Xbox Ones, but it is only one month until we can play the Beta (which will probably be better anyways). Personally, I don't think it is that big of a deal.
