This will give about a month and a half of beta play. maybe a little under before the release. t seems anticlimactic after the wait. he alpha checkout for ps4 is nice, but is that because you have most of the Xbox stuff already and need to software test PlayStation? I think it sucks most for students because some will get 2 weeks before school starts and then the game will drop while they are into the semester. I am not one of those students, but I can see the possible issues

7 AntwortenThe ButtHurt is strong in this thread... People are freaking over "exclusive" armor, weapons, and ship customizations... The armor/weapons? They'll be dumped for better weapons after a few hours. Exclusive Multiplayer map? When has that not happened? Exclusive Strike? That's basically an exclusive Quest/Raid. I'm not even gonna bother talking about the ship customization.... The Alpha WAS a surprise and there's nothing that can be really done. Sony really ponied up the dough for this IP, and they didn't want to miss out. As a gamer, I DO own both "next-gen" consoles, so the only issue I ever have is what to play... or at least that will be the issue later this year. While the hope is that a game dev will keep their fans close to their hearts and in their minds when negotiating or creating new worlds and adventures for us to enjoy, but the fact is business is an ugly thing, and shit happens. I'm sure Bungie will eventually comment on all this, or maybe not... who knows? You have your opinions now, and the only thing that'll change it is time and whatever Bungie says next.
