Is it? I have to pay my own money to play online (50 plus sometimes) so should I get it, or just wait and use my 360 to play Destiny.

1 AntwortenYou have to use your own money? Just steal it like I did

I don't care what games come out for the ps4. I will buy the console just for Project Beast. (Will be playing Destiny on Xbone)

Wait for a limited edition console. But to answer your question: yes, the PS4 is totally worth it. Microsoft's attitude towards their fans makes me feel like a sucker if I were to buy one at this point, if at all. I have never been a fanboy of any sorts; I owned a PS3 and a 360 for years. And I'm not gonna be one of those guys that will outright say they're gonna boycott a product out of sheer arrogance. Of course I'll buy an Xbox One at some point; how else will I finish out the story of the Halo series? But not until I see a major price drop. And there was no way in hell that I was going to buy that Kinect. "We won't ever sell the Kinect and Xbox One separately" my ass.

Bearbeitet von DEZARATH: 5/30/2014 1:26:01 PMI have both the PS4 and a 360. I really like the PS4 and I've been on Live for about four years going on five. I'm using the PS4 for Netflix and Warframe. My 360 has more titles downloaded on it due to my time spent with MS. But really I just use the 360 for Netflix as well. Too be honest most games on both consoles sorta bore the snot out me. Military shooters, exclusives going on their fourth or even sixth title, and kiddie garbage that has no real appeal to my must have list. With the PS4 and Xbox One it's hinges on the horizon titles coming in the fall. Personally I would have waited till about the first week of the Destiny Beta, but a window opened financially and I grabbed the PS4 early. I don't regret it as I am now used to its UI and controller and Sony's gaming culture on PS+. So basically it's just playing and unlocking items in Warframe until the Destiny Beta and then Destiny proper while counting down to EVOLVE, Alien Isolation, and the Crew. Of course Planetside 2 is going to get a turn around the block when it comes out as well. Lastly with MS reducing it price and getting with the program to keep me as a customer I'm looking at picking up XB1 in 2015, so we'll see what Phil Spencer has to say at the E3.

6 AntwortenIts great! And it will definetly get even better in the coming years, sony is making a virtual reality headset for it and ps now is coming out soon. Playstation Now is a streaming service for games on all past playstation. I have the closed beta and it looks pretty good so far. But as of right now you dont need it asap. Id probably wait for a price drop unless theres some games on already that you really want. But its definitley worth it imo

Oh hell no

1 AntwortenGet the Xbox One. Your Gold Account will be shared between the two consoles.
-
Yes the ps plus is a better deal than xbox live so if you have the money and are currently using live than yes
-
You get 6 games through PS+ per month, 2 PS3, 2 PS Vita and 2 PS4. The question I ask you is what other games on PS4 that are out or coming out interest you because if the answer is nothing. wait for it.

-
Nah. Get a Dreamcast instead. A fraction of the cost of a PS4 and it has a great library of games.

6 AntwortenPs4 is powerful just as the PS3 was more powerful than Xbox 360. Power is nothing without the games to support it.

If you don't care about exclusives it's the best system console wise. It's a little more powerful than the X1 which results in the games looking better and having higher frames per second and the polices are better. There's cross play with the PC and the free to play games are free to play.

1 AntwortenI'm loving mine.

The system itself is decent. As far as games go...uhhh..."potential"

In my opinion I think PlayStation four Is a good consul, I have a try it but I will tell you wait a little bit because it doesn't have a big variety of games until now. Still it is a good console

11 Antworteni am switching from xbox 360 to PS4... mainly because xbox dropped the ball during the xb1 launch and are still fumbling to pick up the pieces. Both are great systems, but the lack of games for both are definitely a turn off.

Your 360 is still good for gaming. Consider a PS4 again sometime next year maybe.
-
Wait till E3. See what they really have coming and make a decision.
-
Lots of good exclusives coming to the PS4 from what I've seen. You'll have to buy a next gen console eventually, so why not now?
-
1 AntwortenLove when bots come in here talking noise about the bone. That's not even one of OPs options lol. 360 or PS4.

In my opinion it is totally worth it, but I sort of refused to play any cross gen games until I bought a new console anyway (I'm a little obsessive).
