Reasons to hate the general public: They still buy halo 4
-
15 AntwortenGTA V reached 16 million launch week. 1 billion in sales. $200 million to make, they killed it made so much profit. Created GTA online probably the most fun game of the year. Halo 4: good game, nice graphics, good story, lowest multiplayer returns of the halo franchise ever. they just hit 9 million? who is still buying it? lol

1 AntwortenDeserved. Best Halo game.

5 AntwortenHalo 4 was pretty good but didn't like the story. The prometheans suck. All you do is kill prometheans 24friggin7. Maybe the next game will be like Halo CE/2/3 where there is more paths that can be taken instead of walking a fine line.

37 AntwortenBearbeitet von FatMarshall: 5/4/2014 6:50:20 PMI seriously hope nobody actually thinks this is a good thing. Please remember that Microsoft has been bundling Halo 4 with almost every console they sell for the past year or so now. Those sales are all included. The same went for Reach (actually bought a Black Friday console that included a digital Halo: Reach, never redeemed it though, still sitting in the box), but the bundles for it were no where near as frequent as the Halo 4/Tomb Raider bundles are now. Oh, and Halo 3 sold 14.5 million. Have fun catching up to that, Failo 4. Edit: VGchartz only lists 11.5 M for Halo 3, but every other source claims 14.5 million, and I think it's a direct number from Microsoft.

11 AntwortenMaybe Halo 5 won't sell as well.

4 AntwortenMeanwhile Halo 3 had 14.5 Million Sales

4 AntwortenWell... Did anybody else think that the script and voice acting wasn't that great?

Bearbeitet von ExtremistFlyer7: 5/6/2014 1:24:59 PMI'm laughing at all the people claiming 3 had far more competition.

I counted for two of them, and regret nothing.

24 AntwortenBearbeitet von Legend To None: 5/6/2014 6:18:13 AMHopefully this will get them on thier feet to create something like Halo and not 4. Which is easier than 343 is making it. It's just classic gameplay with great graphics. If they just focus on the story in the game and not give spoilers liek with 4. They will do great

Bearbeitet von IVI1CR0S0F7: 5/6/2014 4:57:45 AMWow, better than I thought. Even if you couple that with the fact that it also got high ratings, I guarantee you that people will still claim that it's a failure.
-
Good for them :D Glad to see they are doing well. I believe if we just give them time and our support they can return Halo to what it was AND we will get Destiny!
-
14 AntwortenAnd here come the whiny bitches. Wah wah Halo 4 sucks wah wah 343i ruined Halo. *goes back to playing CoD* You damn conformists.
-
12 AntwortenLol They're looking for anything to help them save face. Halo 4 was an abysmal failure in every regard, and so is 343. Who cares if 9 million people bought the game if nobody sticks around to play it? Halo 3, the last pure and true Halo game, sold millions of copies and retained a sizable number of those players for years. Halo 4 couldn't even do that for its first year.

15 Antworten
In the U.S., Halo 3 sold 3.3 million copies in its first 12 days on sale,[118] increasing to 3.7 million copies by November 15, 2007.[119] Reuters UK estimated that Halo 3 may have sold up to 5.2 million copies worldwide in the first two weeks after launch.[3] By November 30, 2007, Halo 3 had sold 5 million copies worldwide, and as of that point, was the best-selling video game of 2007 in the U.S., even though the game is only available on one console.[120] On January 3, 2008, Microsoft announced that Halo 3 has sold 8.1 million copies.[121] The game drew over a million Xbox Live members to play online in the first 20 hours, making it the biggest day for Xbox Live gaming in history.[4][122] The game returned to the top 20 sales charts more than a year after its release in February 2009; Gamasutra reported that the boost might have been due to the release of Halo Wars.[123] As of January 2008, 8.1 million copies have been sold.[121]
16 AntwortenNice one. It's sad that a large section of users here bash 343i constantly. Halo 4 wasn't incredible, but it was a good attempt for their first Halo game. It's not cool to be edgy, kids. :-)
