She smiles. "No, no...just curious." She gazes off at the wall as Ren finishes his drink and food. "Might as well get another for the road," he says, calling over the bartender.
English
-
"Probably a good idea.." I'll finish off my food as the rest of it get's prepared.
-
What else did you order, again?
The bartender brings Ren a triple of gin in a thin, cheap, disposable cup. "You two ready?" Natalia asks with a smile.
-
I didn't order anything else, I thought Ren was getting more food for Natalia.
"Yeah, I'm ready."
-
The three of you walk out, Ren with a drink in his hand. "Is there a smoke shop around here?" Natalia asks Ren. "I need to pick up some rolls and cigarettes before we leave." Ren nods. "Yeah, it's actually right next to the entrance courtyard. We can stop there on our way out. As for right now, the pawn shop is back up the way we came, past the rail a bit." He turns back up the street and begins walking. Natalia follows.
-
I'll follow Ren's lead to the Pawn Shop
-
You walk back up the street, noticing it's actually quite dirty. You eventually come to the empty rail and pass it. Walking on, Ren stops in front of a giant building and steps inside.
-
I'll follow him inside and look around
-
It appears to be a large warehouse, with a cashier counter right next to the entrance. The cashier tips his hat as you walk in. The large building has five sections, as five signs hanging from the ceiling show. They're Weapons & Armor, Magical, Books, Jewelry, and Miscellaneous.
-
"I'm gonna check out the miscellaneous section,"
-
You walk over to the miscellaneous section. There are two shelves here, with three racks each. They stretch out to the end of the store. There are a dozen or so other people browsing the section with you.
-
I'll start with browsing the shelf on the left
-
You see a bunch of clocks in the section right in front of you. You notice the rows are labeled. The one in front of you says "clocks". The other labels in your area say pots, cups, sheaths, saddles, raw leather, and vases. You could also move farther down the section.
-
I'll move further down and check more labels.
-
Continuing down, you see labels for utensils, knives, jars, fabric, construction tools, games/playing cards, and mountain-climbing gear.
-
I'll take a look at the knives
-
They all appear to be basic kitchen or serrated knives. Some are in rather good condition.
-
I'll move on to the mountain climbing gear then
-
You inspect the section, finding it rather sparse. There are two pairs of equipment, both rather dirty.
-
Probably shouldn't trust these... I'll move further down, checking more labels.
-
Walking to the end of the first shelf, you see the labels: nails/screws, toys, polish, makeup, grinders, pipes, and gloves.
-
Thought this section would be more interesting I'll turn around to the other shelf and read those labels
-
You see the labels: sporting equipment, dress clothes, casual clothes, shoes, hats, and glasses.
-
I'll continue down and check the labels
-
The next area has the labels: garden tools, wood, assorted fashion accessories, canteens/waterskins, guitars, violins, and woodwind instruments.
-
Already picked up a canteen, it'll do for now I'll continue down and read more labels
