I find it amusing how people act as if Destiny couldn't possibly be a sequel to the halo series. Bungie never confirmed that it is going to be a completely seperate universe.

No proof that Leroy Jenkins won't be in this game

11 AntwortenYou might be right, I've been seeing patterns recently, this one is one I've been working on but the government are onto me, so keep it to yourself. Watch dogs is in the same universe as assassins creed, watch dogs is set in Chicago, Chicago is the city in which the Chicago Bulls are based, bulls are male cows, cows make milk, milk goes in coffee, coffee is sold by Starbucks, the "star" in starbucks, literally means "star", stars exist within our universe, our universe has our solar system in it, our solar system is the basis on which Destiny is based. Therefore - Aiden Pierce is a guardian in the last safe city. Mind = blown

1 AntwortenAccording to the Many Worlds Interpretation of quantum mechanics, there are an infinite number of universes that exist as potential outcomes of an infinite number of variables. Therefore, it is all but certain that Destiny is, in fact, a sequel to Halo in one or more of them. Some examples would be: A universe wherein Bungie had retained the Intellectual Property rights to Halo in an act of amazing foresight, or, a universe where the world's hackers banded together and wrought unimaginable devastation to any machine running Microsoft source code, causing the corporation's rapid collapse, whereupon Bungie was able to negotiate a separation from its then-parent company and, immediately following Microsoft's dissolution, reacquire the rights to Halo after the courts ruled that their contract was rendered null and void. In this universe, of course, we know that none of the above has occurred, so the likelihood of any of this happening without a flurry of copyright infringement lawsuits is, shall we say, remote at best...

You could be right... If we took your thought and threw it away. Bungie sold all the Halo franchise to 343, so they can't make any reference to Halo at all
-
2 AntwortenThat's stupid, everyone knows Marathon is the sequel to Halo.
-
So basically stating that pretty much any Call of Duty game could be a prequel to Halo?

3 AntwortenIt would kinda make sense for the enimes The fallen-Elites The hive-The flood The vex-The sentinals (from Halo 3) The cabal-Grown up grunts!
-
They have mentioned several times that destiny is 100 percent new and original and is not Halo, 343 has the rightd to halo now if you must know.
-
I doubt Microsoft would approve of that theory.
-
What if destiny is really halo, but in a different universe, different enemies, different storyline, different gameplay, unrelated characters, and different overall mechanics.
-
I find it amusing when children cry (joking).
-
Its.. its just not
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......1/10

-
-
Actually they have
-
If anything it is a prequel because they can only travel within the solar system and not far away places like the rings.
-
The fact that Microsoft would sue the living daylights out of Activision and \ or Bungie for even hinting at the possibility of Destiny being Halo-related is proof enough.
-
But last year bungie told us that it's set in a different universe :(:::::: Were they lying... Or are you just ignorant to that one piece of information?
-
There's also no proof that we aren't in a prequel to halo.
-
It's a prequel
-
No rights = proof
-
No proof that it is. Allways easier to say it is not than it is.
-
It won't be. Bungee sold the rights to halo to 343
