It seems like the Parliament has impeached the President. He's calling it a coup now, that it is illegal, which is what Russia was saying before.

2 AntwortenI very rarely sympathise with protestors/rebels but in this case? I do. If the Rioters and Police want to have gun battles, fine. If they start shooting medics? That's completely out of order. It's probably just going to get worse now, especially if the Russians are sending in troops quietly. Or just giving the Ukraine government some of their nastier guns. *sigh* Best of luck to them, the government here is in the wrong. It's people wanted democracy and the EU, they got shot at instead. GG Commies.

5 AntwortenSo obviously the rioters have the numbers to make a sizable dent in things right? I'm not exactly sure what they're so pissed about, the closest I can think of would be their recent elections. But, if the rioters acted peacefully and non violent, they could reach their goal. You don't have to destroy to make a point. The government and system runs based on the people who turn the gears. No people to turn the gears, nothing works. It's sad that that they couldn't see that and get things under control.

The word on the top-right of the OP image reads "revolution", so people in the media certainly sympathise with the people. That caliber checks out with the gun, yes. The Ukrainian authorities are using Russian guns against those whom are against pro-Russian legislation, which means pro-Russian corruption is far deeper rooted in Ukraine. The Soviet Union is gone, but its ghost still lingers.
