People who will get Destiny because Bungie
For those that say that they'll get Destiny because Bungie is the best company in the world: what's wrong with you? The people who say this are Playstation players who haven't even played any of the Halo games. Like, what the hell are you guys smoking? Before Destiny was announced, you were probably bashing Halo and Xbox players.
Any of these hypocrites around?

5 AntwortenThis is so funny i LOLZ. Darth Ra. Im a playstation player. Yet I have beaten halos 1-4 all on their legendary modes. I had to borrow a friends 360 to beat 3 and 4 since I had a ps3. And I loved the work Bungie did on the first 3 halos. So I do think bungie is one of the best companies out there right now. They broke away from Microsoft on Halo because they wanted to continue making good quality games and not pumping out their legacy game until it was trash. The very mass majority of us playstation players that will "get Destiny because Bungie is the best company in the world" are getting it because they have played a halo game and remember how awesome it was. Bungie knows the way into a gamers imagination. There will always be a Sony and Xbox rivarly. Even though the systems are really relatively the same. They just have different strengths. but people will always argue. They are both awesome consoles.

I'm a playstation player but I have played all the Halo games and I can say that I'm getting Destiny because it looks awesome and Bungie is a great company.

8 AntwortenThe only reason I owned a 360, was for Halo. Halo 4 was great and all, but it lacked that charm that Bungie injected into their games. Destiny is multi-platform, so I decided to move to the PS4. Not everyone on the Playstation side of things are newbies to Bungie.

I mean maybe they liked combat evolved on the PC but anyone who never owned a Halo game would just be idiodic to say that they think bungie is the best company ever, really doesnt make sense actually. However, to the people who bashed Halo and are now PS4 users looking to play destiny, you may be mad but I say welcome aboard, the more the merrier. Also I was a huge xbox/halo fan, but I'm tired of Halo, the series is just boring to me imo and hanging on to nastalgia and just hoping Halo will get better wasn't a good enough reason for me to buy an XBOX1. I own a PS4 due to the fact that all my friends are PS4 players, so it only made sense. Also getting a free game every month is pretty -blam!-ing cool imo. Just my opinion I guess.

5 AntwortenA man can say he hates Carl's Jr. even though he has never been there before even though he has seen commercials and know what they stand for. He one day sees they just made a burger that sounds so good to him, good enough for him to finally go to Carl's Jr. and try them out. That's kind of whats going on here, the PS players know about Bungie's reputation and decided they do not like the games they produced, than they see a game they think is interesting and want to try it, do you blame them? The game looks amazing already. Halo while I love it to death looks like any other shooter to the outside players and may not be enough to convert them to buy another console just to play. All we can do is enjoy their company and maybe buy a milkshake for them because those things are good.

14 AntwortenWait, so, people aren't allowed to believe that the past quality of a company's or group's works might potentially be indicative of future endeavors/ products? I guess that makes me a fool for having happily anticipated Hot Fuzz and The World's End because I was a fan of the people involved in those series. I feel silly for having looked forward to the next TMBG album because I like their music. To think I dared to be a fan of a group/ company that produced things that I like. And for Playstation players... Well. We ALL KNOW none of them might have owned some form of Xbox or otherwise had access to Halo media prior to Bungie's multiplatform Destiny, and followed from afar. That's not a thing that happens sometimes because circumstances. Is any of this getting through to you? I can lay it on thicker if you need.

5 AntwortenWhat's appealing to me is the game it's self. I like the way it's heading as a console. Open world mmo. The biggest multiplayer game I ever played was on PS3, ( MAG ) 256 players and that was a sick game. The distance you could get between a player. One downfall with that game was COD, mw3, ops, coming out I wonder what happened to its development. Played halo once at a mates, it was alright but didn't make me convert. I don't know where your heading with PS users riding bungies nuts. It's about the awesome graphics, player and gun building mechanics, campaign replay ability and MMO entwined. Thanks to Bungie. Id Slap your mouth. Lol Muhahaa.
