I know, I know. I'm an atheist, whatever. That has nothing to do with the situation, though.
In my city, there's pretty strict noise rules. No excessive noise before 7am on weekdays, 9am on Saturdays, and none on Sundays.
There's a church literally across the street from me - less than 100 yards away. The churchgoers [roughly 20-40 people, by my estimation] like to gather outside before services [which are every day of the week, it seems] and sing songs. This ranges from anywhere between 5 and 7am, and quite often wakes me from my slumber.
I've written to them on numerous occasions about my displeasure, and asked them to at least move their sessions inside the church, rather than the parking lot and sidewalk. I never received any response.
I don't want to be a typical atheist douche, but this has been going on for years. It's pretty unnerving and makes for an unpleasant morning. If I have to play by the rules, so should they.
What should I do?

(If you can still hear noise outside when your windows are closes, it's time to get new ones. ) Get some ear plugs? I mean honestly I find this kinda sad. These people are being joyful, singing whatever they are singing because they believe it's good and hear you are, upset because your slumber was ruined. Grow a pair.
