I'm not talking about our observable universe but the entire whole shabang, what the hell could have possible started it? Did time exist before reality making things in the now go to the past creating the necessary requirements to form it? Can someone offer some theories? Could there be a God that exists out of the requirements of time and physics that created everything? I just want some help.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Banned n3rd: 1/14/2014 8:46:19 PMIt's one of life's great mysteries, isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence? Or is there really a God, watching everything, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know man, but it keeps me up at night.

I think that time didn't exist before the big bang. That's what Stephen Hawking says at least.

12 AntwortenBearbeitet von Tartan 118: 1/14/2014 3:12:57 PMThere's nothing to speculate about, we know what happened. On a more grounded note, people who likely know nothing about real science speculate that if breaking the sound barrier produces a sonic boom, perhaps breaking the sound barrier creates a universe, or just makes a very big bang that then creates a universe.

No one knows, no one can know. I'm comfortable with that as you are comfortable saying that you can't know the will of god.

1 AntwortenGod farted into a lighter after winning an arm wrestling match with his roommate. And that's how we're here.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Ad Hoc: 12/11/2013 6:03:32 AMI don't understand why people think God is necessary to explain how the Big Bang created the Universe. Sure, logic tells us that something had to create, and come before it, but how does God fix that problem? Didn't something have to create God too? All it does is add an extra, unnecessary variable to the problem. Other than that, there isn't much else I can offer. Clearly there's something about cause and effect we don't understand. Maybe the Universe created itself. But even then, we can't resist the impulse of wondering what made that happen.

some guy made it in a lab ( not serious )

Something went boom and shit was created

1 AntwortenThis is a subject for theoretical quantum physicists, not a bunch of kids on a gaming forum.

The entire universe stems from my anus. When I farted, it created everything we will, and already know.

What makes you think any member of Humanity could even comprehend the entirety of this question? Imbecile.

The Big Splash started it...

I think it was all just a huge coincidence.

1 AntwortenI like to believe that our universe is a cycle. That it expands after a "Big Bang", and then shrinks and collapses in on itself after reaching its peak (mimicking the cycle of a star into a black hole). Then when the universe compacts every particle of matter in the universe, it explodes again ("Big Bang" cycle). This theory of mine fits the Big Bang theory and religion together, because there's room for interpretation of what created the cycle in the first place, while still accepting the widely known belief that the Big Bang created our universe.

It began and here we are.

the video above should help explain how the big bang happened (asking why is irrelevant to science, and explaining how it started is beyond my capability)
Could there be a God that exists out of the requirements of time and physics that created everything?
yes, but there is no verifiable proof of this so....

Why did it have to start from anything? What if it just existed, no start, no end, and that's just too simple for us to consider.
-
We could, but we wouldn't get anywhere with it.

I have no idea... I don't really like to think about it.

1 AntwortenGod created the universe, exactly 6000 years ago.

The universe started 2013 years ago

1 AntwortenMaybe God was playing with physics and accidentally created our universe, then decided to watch and see what would happen. Or the proposed infinitely small ball of matter just spontaneously expanded. Either way, I think time was existent. I like to think of it as a line, not a ray with a definite beginning.
