This thread is just reporting the facts. I am not fully supporting the PS4 or the Xbox One until I have additional information. Admittedly, Sony's PS4 looks much more enticing at the moment, to me, than the Xbox One. Two reasons:
1) The PS4 will be $100 USD cheaper and deliver marginally better hardware. The PS4 also comes with its own motion controller built into the actual Dualshock 4 controller, so the fact that the One comes with the Kinect is not sufficient to justify the extra $100 so far.
2) More importantly, the PS4 simply has more exclusive titles. The PS4 has 20 exclusive titles, 12 of which are new IPs, whereas the Xbox has 15 exclusives with 8 new IPs. Now, if the Xbox manages to push out 15 higher quality exclusives than Sony's 30 (counting 10 more that are in development), then obviously having 15 quality exclusives is better than having many poor exclusives. However, I simply don't see this happening. The PS3 had consistently better exclusive titles than the Xbox 360, and with ace developers like Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch, I don't see superior quality Xbox exclusives. 343i is a relatively unexperienced developer compared to these two giants, and this is especially evident in game design.
Once again, final judgments need to be reserved for a few months down the line, but as of now, there seems to be no compelling reason to opt for the Xbox over the PS4, and that is coming from someone who has been an Xbox Gold member for 6 years.

Just want to point out it's First Party Games not just exclusives. There's a difference.
