Reach WAS a good game, if you understand what Bungie was trying to do, and have a greater outlook on it.
I agree, Bungie does a good job. Destiny is the only xbox game I am even considering getting.

I saw it happen first hand with Reach. It's going to happen again with Destiny. It's inevitable. Much like the Reapers. And yes, Reach was a good game. But it failed in a number of aspects: One of which it was still a plot driven storyline, not a character driven one like they wanted. The characters were stereotypical roles, but it's a step given how the only main character they cast before was a blank slate who barely says anything. Another: They gave us so much information about Noble Team through the website but showed none of it in game. Why not introduce us to Jorge winning yet another game of cards with his awesome poker face? Or show Emile with a growing Grunt finger necklace as the campaign plays forward?
