The funniest thing would be if D2 pivots to 90% PVP so we can stop hearing it from the space magic crowd...lol
From a business perspective PVP is wayyyy less cost and you can go out and get those multi-thousands of players who left into a whole new reset of PVP as long as they are willing to invest some money and guarantees for the player-base.
The hardcore/addicts that remain are easier to keep.. gotta provide reason for someone new-ish or rusty to D2 PVP to come back. (I'm not talkin what they did to trials.. "don't worry you can get loot as you get spanked" I'm talkin ways to teach, train, fair competition, show growth, stats, progression, transparency, dedication to balance..etc) Thats the ticket.
D2 PVP FTW
Bearbeitet von TACO_Adept: 4/14/2025 12:31:33 PMThe PvP player base is too toxic for any positive changes to happen that might attract more players. Try and make Trials more inviting and all it does is bring out the sweats, cheats and dirtbags. It's actually worse than it was before. Enjoy playing against a handful of players cos that's all you'll ever get.

I wish but ...they just don't want our money though.. look for example at Marathon.. they set it up for 3 stacks... they're gonna be dead in the water without solo que maatchmaking (just like how bringin people back here is gonna need solo que/freelance) there is something wrong with the management at Bungie... its a disease.. I even have no clue if Rite of the Nine is gonna launch with matchmaking. They are gonna die on this hill... -
Yeah man but we all here wanting a better PvP. 30th anniversary style.

Man. 30th anniversary sandbox was the greatest point in PvP. Bar none. There were some outliers (the usual suspects), but every weapon felt viable. Also helps that they had just introduced Crossplay and I believe D2 and all of its dlc was still on Xbox Game Pass.
