Dear Bungie I am a 56 year old man who plays this game to escape the frustrations of life. Before I go any further I will address the elephant in the room. I will acknowledge that there are professional streamers, servants and people who have a doctorate in destiny mechanics and these are not the people of which I speak for. I am an average gamer who finds the raised difficulty this season absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. You as the creators built in challenges such as legendary loss sectors as a way of ranking up our status from veteran to elite to whatever the next step is. As a result you have set the average player up for failure and in doing so you have directly killed the fun of playing. This updated difficulty makes people like me not want to play or try to improve because for people like myself I get slapped down at every turn. This needs to be fixed!!! For those mentioned above they wanted more of a challenge and it is my guess that these are the people you are designing games for. I would put forth that the majority of players are in my category. I am so sure this is fallen upon deaf ears, however, this truth needs to be said. I don’t know what you were thinking when you made this choice and I ask that you think about as you move forward if you want this franchise to continue then the majority of the fan base needs to be heard.
