I have a bad feeling about strand...
Just like stasis, I think strand is going to be a big problem in the crucible, whether it's hunters crying about how titans and warlocks are just as fast as them, now, Warlocks continuing to cry about hunters for no god-given reason, or titans seemingly getting no attention. Strand will break Destiny, again, just like stasis. The important thing is if you are a PVP player that you understand this and keep your eyes open. Give feedback and don't get mad when you get destroyed by someone with strand. Bungie will look into strand and fix it if it really is a problem, or if you're more like me and just suck at PVP. We just need to give strand time to develop for PVP before slamming the forums. One big thing to consider as well is how this affects strand in PVE when demanding buffs and nerfs.

For one it’s going to be good so that they make people feel like they NEED the expansion to have a chance in crucible. For two…it’s PvP so there’s no point in caring that much

I promise, as a hunter main, not to complain about warlocks and titans being faster than me. Mostly because that would be remedial but also because I'll be in the air.

It will be fun to watch all over again. Powercreep is not a problem, it’s an instrument for addiction. And they use it as bait, all the time. It’s fascinating to watch. The only way that Bungie can get people to buy expansions these days is with FOMO on new subclasses that are vastly superior to the existing subclasses.

They release overtuned overpowered stuff so people get all hyped up, once the sales mission is accomplished they nerf everything into oblivion to make way for the next OP stuff. Rinse. Repeat. And everyone falls for it every single time. It's truly amazing to witness.

lol, current pvp maps are seemingly not designed for grappling and that kind of nonsense. I don't see them making a ton of new maps, which means pvp will be a poopstorm. if bungie prove me wrong, then I'll gladly accept being wrong.

….Yuh. Same way cod sold dlc weapons that were very good sometimes op (done to sell weapons, b8 n switch). Sane thing with bungie sells dlcs. I can’t recall a time dlc supers started off weak and got stronger. It was always the opposite. Make players feel powerful and then nerf the thing. Warlocks still haven’t recovered 🤣😔😔

3 AntwortenWell they do have an expansion to sell, so it'd make sense that one of the main selling points of their expansion, in this case a new subclass, is crazy powerful to incentivize people to buy it. I'm excited to see it shine in PVE. As far as PVP is concerned? lol it's D2, if anyone is playing D2 PVP with a competitive mindset, that's on them. We're talking about a game mode that gets 1 new map a year... pretty obvious that PVP isn't a top priority for Bungie. Time to move onto an actual PVP game if that's what people are looking for.
