It's just impossible to me. No matter how many hours I spend trying to achieve a solo run, no matter many people say what loadouts I'm suppose to use for a solo run, and no matter how much I have to change the formula of my gameplay, nothing - literally nothing works for me. It's just -blam!- impossible to do, and I defy anyone who say it is possible. Doing as dungeon solo is a -blam!- lie Bungie, and you know it.

3 AntwortenYeah you're right. No one has ever solo'd a dungeon. Keep going. Maybe you will be the first!

I learned how to solo difficult content watching Esoterrick, while he is a miles better player than me, his loadout is available to anyone , and his strategy is easy to replicate Since then I have solo flawlessed all Dungeons , just yesterday solo flawlessed Spire, I can still hear the supplicant beeps in my nightmares

I'm a solo endgame player. It's not supposed to be easy. I have some tips: chk points for the encounters you're struggling with. I'll repeat that chk pt over and over, till I'm dialed... wiping right before it finishes. Then the next encounter, etc. Then you just need to put it all together. Always focus 1st on survivability, then tune your dps over time. Takes breaks, if you feel gittery or stressed, or angry... come back to it. Focus on clearing it 1st, mastering encounter by encounter, then go for the full clear... then flawless. My stats are messed up but I've solo'd alot in this game. I haven't done the latest 2 dungeons yet, but every other one. I'm not claiming to be Eso either... when Shattered Throne released it took me 3 months to beat Vorgeth, now he melts like a marshmallow. I needed about 30 attempts for GoA but it wasn't the main encounters that messed me up... it was the sparrow section. The one I'm most proud of is heroic Zero Hour... mainly because I created the cipher or shortcut card for the puzzle before boss... The hardest was hard VotoS or heroic Glykon or actually last week's Legend Heist on the moon... that scanner room is insane, still can't believe I did it. This stuff takes practice and time... if you can't handle the swings, if you don't love it... don't do it. Because it is an emotional rollercoaster, bad beats... bugs, distracted or sloppy play that kills a run and you hate yourself for the rest of the night. It's all part of it. But I love it. Everything thing I do is about GMs and solos.

Was going to be sympathetic then read the bottom bit now the only thing I can say is skill issue

So in all seriousness, I'd say it's a Skill Issue. 100%

Don't try to solo Spire, it's damn near impossible. Do Shattered Throne or Grasp of Avarice first.

Bearbeitet von Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 1/7/2023 1:09:33 AMDungeons just aren’t rewarding enough in general because of unreasonable RNG, let alone the frustration of a solo run.
-
This is just a skill issue. Practice next time

Grasp of avarice is a pretty easy dungeon to solo.

Honestly not that hard. Hardest part is not getting shafted by something stupid that has nothing to do with your play. Killed by the architects. Just take your time and after a few tries you will know all the best spots to do damage as well as hide out if low on health. Just takes time and dedication if u want it it will happen
-
new dungeon was impossible because of the fans, but figured out a cheese for it. just use either of the 2: loreley titan with healing works great, sad it got nerfed mainly use a graviton forfeit invis hunter and take it extremely slow know the mechanics, prepare the battlefield in advance and run resist mods. no need to rush, just take it slow, also don't forget resist mods
-
It’s easy to solo older dungeons. They were designed differently.
-
I can't get past how long I imagine it takes to defeat the bosses long enough to care about a solo run. Doable? Yes absolutely. Worth the effort? -blam!- no.
-
It IS possible...just ridiculously tough since the encounters are designed for 3 people, so you're stuck working triple-time for the whole dungeon. Not something the average player is likely to achieve without committing an obscene amount of time to mastering every little nuance of the dungeon in question. I tried a few times in GOA and decided it wasn't worth the time it would take. Might try with the new one sometime just to see if I can beat the first encounter or two for some loot, but I'm guessing it won't go well
-
Agreed, they are literally impossible and no one can do them.

Every Dungeon, especially the newer ones have some little gimmick that just instant kills you and ruins the flow. In Duality it's the stupid lamps, sliding down the vents, fuel packs, Ghalran's -blam!- bumping you and sending you flying into a wall at mach 10 etc... In Spire it's the supplicants, sliding down the corridor and instant dying when you touch any part of the floor, fan blades, the Wyvern boss' wonkyass damage from his laggy projectiles etc... But every Dungeon (the game on general) has something in common and that's all the teleporting enemies. I was under the impression that since D1, the Taken Faction were the only faction with Janky body twitching and constant teleporting. Clearly every enemy faction does that now.
-
It’s either enemies teleporting (really bad this season) or I’ll get error coded. Makes these solo flawless runs mostly luck based. Props to anyone willing to power through it
-
The artifact got a mod in the last row that gives you 15 procent more damage, maybe it helps you.
-
It's never been easier to solo dungeons with a Loreley "I can't survive without it" Splendor build.
-
I mean it's obviously possible. There's a ton of dudes with the achievements. Is it easy though? No. Not for everyone.
-
I won't lie, I've made multiple attempts myself and failed miserably. But I wouldn't say it's impossible, as I know people who've done so. I always appreciate defiance, but in this case facts show otherwise.

Skill issue

Well, it's not for everybody I suppose.
