I think this has been a thing since D1 and still blues are overwriting prime, exotic, shards, prisms, etc. You need to do that or make the postmaster full message well before its actually full.
Since several people have an issue understanding some of us don't run normal anything. I'm not using the PM for storage. I've masterworked and shaped everything I can. And the vault does not allow you to store shards. It's thar simple.
-
So, what do you actually have in your Postmaster that's then getting lost? Shards, Prisms and Alloys only take 3 slots. There are 18 more slots, and I can only see those filling up if you have horrible inventory management and don't visit the Tower or HELM often.

1 AntwortenYears, yet still don’t understand postmaster isn’t storage. It’s fascinating to watch really
-
6 AntwortenGonna go a step further on this. I disagree with OP and believe post master is obviously not storage. However the Post master and our Vault should be in our directory, not just the tower.
-
Just happened to me. Items for crafting. Because of stupid inventory caps. Blues should auto dismantle after soft cap. Or even better give us the option to auto delete. An earlier warning would be helpful as well.
-
Use the app Luke.. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've lost items in the post master in 8+ years.
-
Honestly what they should do is give you a in-game option to pull stuff or at least see what you have in your postmaster with out the need to look in your phone that would solve this issue entirely
-
2 AntwortenAbout as long as Bungie has been telling you not to use the postmaster for storage.
-
I’ve honestly never had this issue. I get message postmaster is full, I go delete/claim stuff
-
-
This doesn’t sound like an eververse bug.
-
1 AntwortenIf you never run normal stuff and have that many mats then I don’t see why you still need more
-
5 AntwortenSimple fix.... Stop using your postmaster for storage. He is there as a second chance to pick up missed items not to store anything for you for any length of time. Bungie sets the limit on how much you can hold of certain resources for a reason and blaming the postmaster system because you want more is not going to work.

Bearbeitet von Sweet Lew 88: 12/25/2022 7:37:12 PMhow have people not adapted to this yet? Its been this way for 8 years. If they havent changed it by now, its probably never going to happen. You're not meant to have unlimited of certain materials. Just be fine with hitting the cap and then tossing away extras. If you dont want the postmaster to throw away stuff, keep your personal inventory and gear with empty slots and stuff will not go to the postmaster and you can delete it from orbit or whenever. Adapt or keep failing, up to you bud....

6 AntwortenGreat idea. Now waiting for toxic comments “stop hoarding” “clean out your postmaster” etc

2 AntwortenEDIT: The most logical, SIMPLE solution that I can think of would be to just send EVERYTHING to the Vault. If you then overflow the DAMN VAULT then it def proves you are a hoarder and need professional help. --- if the Vault does not allow you to store Shards then it's by design. You are maybe not taking the hint here, the hint here being "Bungie does not want you to store Shards" At all. Ever. They had a meeting titled "Shards: Let's make sure players can't store them" with the memo header "Send Kill squads to people houses who find loopholes." I AGREE with people that we should be able to store more things. It's also BLINDINGLY obvious that right now Bungie does NOT want us to store more, so making suggestions to streamline the system to get around the "not being able to store more" is a waste of time. I don't want "postmaster priority" or a system that "sends more messages from Postmaster" etc etc, because ALL of those things are a BANDAID solution to the "just let us store more stuff" problem. The system was specifically designed to store a specific amount of things to FORCE people to keep spending resources or lose them. You all play games that do this. Why are you surprised. They don't want you hoarding it. They want you to spend it. You are asking for exactly the opposite of what they designed it to be. Was is a "bad design choice"? I have no idea. Maybe. I spend money in Guild Wars 2 to buy extra bag slots and Storage bays because it also does not want to just "make it easy to hoard everything". The Postmaster only even exists because if it did not, a LOT more people would be screaming. SOME basic "overflow" system needed to exist. It has no other secondary functions, we were all supposed to IMMEDIATELY go empty it the moment ANYTHING appeared there. It's as simple as that.

Postmaster isn't storage and is on you to manage inventory. Would be nicer if it was in inventory menu or the directory tho.
-
It does suck not being able to run multiple NFs on Master or GM without having to go to the post every 2 runs to make sure your exotics and crafting materials aren't overwritten by some blue garbage. The postmaster could be in the director, but instead we have Eververse. Priorities I guess.

10 AntwortenHow long have we been telling y'all that postmaster isn't for storage?
-
Approximately this many
-
1 AntwortenI passed out while holding my breath for Bungie to remove caps and increase postmaster/vault storage.
-
18 AntwortenPretty hilarious how many little bootlickers are in the comments defending a crappily designed, implemented and managed postmaster system. Literally everyone's game experience would be at least slightly better if blues and common materials couldn't push higher tier items out of the postmaster.
-
3 AntwortenWait until you have to manage a career or a household. That postmaster will seem a breeze to manage! Enjoy it while it lasts kid.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von DHawk12: 12/24/2022 11:00:25 PMI want all capped resources to be uncapped or increased by at least 5x (including glimmer).

1 AntwortenI wish it was available from the character screen

31 AntwortenAnd on today's episode of "Don't Use Your Postmaster as Storage", we have a very special Christmas Eve episode planned for our audience.
