Had a good game, and then my son arrived, it's my weekend, so naturally I quit right away(shutting my ps down), to greet him at the front door, so naturally I quit right away.
And then when I turn back on, I am greeted with a warning... it's stupid and starts off a bad experience right away with this game... come one bungie, you can do better.

2 AntwortenGood, now youll have more time to spend with your son. Good guy bungie saving the day again 😊

Id be happy if the lockout penalty went but instead a begative stat modifier is applied for the match 20 death 1 kill. That would sort out those leaving legit and those leaving merely to preserve stats. We can all agree there are no real rewards in the playlist however many still queue to enjoy it and when a player bails for any reason it effects the team they were on, regardless of rewards, incentive etc so there needs to be some deterrent for it.

7 AntwortenFunny how it’s usually the people who suck at crucible, are the only people defending this penalty in a mode that is the furthest thing from competitive. Who cares if someone left the 6v6 laggy ability spam simulator to go and do something. If I’m being lobby balanced, given a bad map to play on, or the lag is terrible, I’ll also leave and take the “timeout.” I’ll just go play another game or another mode in the crucible.

Let the pvp numbers continue to go down and maybe they’ll actually have a “ renewed focus”
-
No. You should've managed your time better. It's no different than if I made dinner and began eating it, while in match or loading into one. I should've managed my time better in that instance

4 AntwortenThe suspension system is there by player demand as way to many people are poor losers and as soon as a match turns against them they quit. If it was the odd player it would be fine but it became way more than that. Leaving a match almost guarantee your team losing and most probably ruins another players enjoyment as they are brought in by the matchmaking system to replace you.
-
4 AntwortenYou quit early and got a warning. If you quit habitually, you'll get a deserved penalty. Working as intended.
-
3 AntwortenYou knew your son was scheduled to arrive, right? Before you logged in to play? No shade here. But backing out is seriously an issue. I'm glad they implemented this change. It was being abused and people know it. Just don't want to admit it. People leave just because they're getting beat by a point!! And your team doesn't know your reasoning for leaving, they just know you quit mid match.

Like I said they are still quitting lol so now we have to sit there and play it out because we quit we banned. So stupid hence I stopped playing. Overwatch 2 cancels the game and gives you the ability to re que when you quit out. That’s comp, free to quit any game non comp in Overwatch 2 which is fantastic like every game ever right?

Control should be considered casual not competitive, the rewards are really mediocre compared to trials.

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von Paniks, The Scared: 10/29/2022 2:27:57 AMQuitter penalties are needed because all the tryhards that can't artificially pad their KD anymore will leave matches when they can't completely destroy the opposing team with no opposition.

6 AntwortenOr hear me out. DON'T QUIT
-
It's just a warning you can get a bunch of them without getting penalized you should be good as long as your not quitting all the time bur I get seeing the msg without expecting it can be jarring
-
Perhaps you can only be trusted to play PVP every other weekend.
-
2 AntwortenJust change characters, the other characters aren’t banned. Rinse and repeat.

2 AntwortenOh no U got a warning ): what U Gon do
that's what U said right just a warning
-
seems like a you problem
-
You’re upset over a warning? What happens if your son breaks the rules? What do you do?

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von warlordzsinj: 10/29/2022 3:16:28 PMI was in a few games with you earlier. It was Endless Vale where you were AFK and we got absolutely stomped.

4 AntwortenI think quitting a match counts as a loss, but I could be wrong.

Swiss cheese has less holes than this story.

33 AntwortenSounds like you just got a warning? How is that an awful penalty? Maybe don't be playing if you know someone is stopping by soon? Including food delivery?
-
You didn’t get penalized yet, it was just a warning, yes?… But if you do get penalized, now you can touch grass with your son. Or play other games just like how an empty game like this one should be played. Haha!🤣
-
Or you get kicked because Bungie doesn’t have servers.
-
Well in any pvp game most of the time someone quits when there losing to cheat there k.d. so unfortunately it's a case of the many ruining it for the few. Bungie can't be blamed for that
