Offtopic, i need your help!
so i saw this really cute girl working at baskin robins but i don’t know her at all. i was thinking of ripping the bandaid off right away and just straight up asking for her number but i feel like that’s too forward. i’m planning on doing it sometime this week and i plan on leading with, “can i get your number? i got 5 minutes left on my break and i think that’s hardly enough time to get to know each other. maybe we could do it over text instead?”
let me know if this is a terrible ideas or if i should do some things first.

It wouldn’t hurt to try a little small talk first, would it? Maybe attractive people can straight up ask for numbers, but I’m guessing that’s not the case if you’re asking for advice - no offense meant. With small talk you can gauge her interest without putting her on the spot and facing a hard rejection.
