Just an idea I've had for a long time now. So Titans and Warlocks have class abilities that benefit themselves, and the entire fireteam at the same time:
Titans - Have a barrier; it can protect them or several people, and confer bonuses to all of them.
Warlocks - Have a rift; it can protect or empower them or several people.
But hunters...
Hunters - Have a dodge that can help them.
That's it. Their class ability is the only 'selfish' one - it does nothing for the rest of the team. I think this is at least a small part of why Hunters aren't as requested in higher end content. And I think there is an easy fix: have their ability increase mobility for them and fireteam members near them for a short duration.
This would totally fit with them supposedly being the 'mobility' class, the rogues if you will. It would make them sort of the 'scout' - looking ahead for trouble, and 'warning' everybody they need to book it out of there. There is a sweet spot where it wouldn't be overpowered - maybe it's only a +5 bonus; or maybe a +10 bonus, but only if the fireteam members aren't already getting a mobility bonus form some other source. I think this would just bring them in line with the other two classes to be more helpful to the fireteam overall.
Tl;dr - Hunter class ability only benefits them, and having it grant a small mobility boost to nearby fireteam members would make it match the utility of the other two classes who have class abilities that benefit the whole fireteam.

4 AntwortenOk, next time I use my dodge to not die and revive my teammates I’ll make sure to say to myself how selfish I am. Lolol But for real, it’s not a bad idea. But.....I can just see the forums now asking for a nerf bc now there are even more hunters in trials grabbing that mobility boost.
