So the new armors are major trypophobia triggers, especially the hunter cloak. For those who are unaware what trypophobia is, it's a feeling of fear, distress, or just general discomfort or itchiness caused by the appearance of irregular holes, particularly clusters of them, and it's amplified immensely when present on living things or skin. I've seen people online saying things like, "just don't look at it" which isn't a viable suggestion since you can't stop others in the game from wearing it and appearing on your screen. I've also seen people joke about other phobias, such as spiders, but for the most part, the phobias are often disconnected because it's just a game. Trypophobia is triggered by the design, so it can be in full effect even in a game. It's also true that some Hive things can trigger trypophobia, but they don't come close to the new armor. This is by far the worst I've seen in this game. I've overexposed myself to it in the past in attempt to cure myself of it, and for the most part I have, but I still can't help but get the discomfort and itchiness every now and then. I feel deeply sorry for those who are much more trypophobic than me and I really hope Bungie does something about it.
