Damage Report
I think something that could help with confusion over cause of death, or otherwise undue outrage at 'broken' weapons could be mitigated if a damage report existed.
On death, where it normally says your cause of death (e.g. "Retrofuturist" under the banner) to have a little list.
Something like
-(most recent) Retrofuturist 80 damage
- Spare Rations 40 Damage
- (oldest attack after last health regeneration) Melee Attack 95 Damage

Nice to see so much feedback and positivity on this! Hopefully Bungie can see it.
I also thought, perhaps an additional note on the Damage Report could be something to note a damage buff.
So if a weapon or ability had a damage buff on it, it could be annotated by a symbol (*). If, for example, someone had Blessing of Sky with Rampage on an Igneous Hammer then when it appeared in the report it could say
- 136 Igneous Hammer**
In the quest of removing confusion, noting damage buffs would be important. Noting everything and having it all listed would be an overwhelming amount of information, hence a simple asterisk (or other symbol) to help note these buffs.

18 AntwortenGood idea, as long as it's not too intrusive. I would also like a Raid Report after each successful Boss encounter, which summarizes damage taken, damage done, damage per weapon breakdown etc. Very helpful in figuring out what does or doesn't work for you and your team.

6 AntwortenI got straight up wallhack killed by a chaos reach and it said misadventure lol have it on clip, I've had a striker Titan kill me with golden gun, ffx and all, I've been melee killed from behind by someone over 50 meters in front of me, and so so many more, the amount of times I've died mysteriously by someone and the game just throws misadventure or architects at me suggests half the time the game doesn't even know what killed me. I've recorded over a hundred videos showcasing perculiar and outright unexplainable deaths. There was one spot on Europa walking over some ice where this one little gap in the ground you could see through I walked on it and died immediately like I'd past a kill zone, but after 30 minutes, couldn't replicate it and didn't happen again. I'm sure almost all of us have experienced strange deaths that don't make sense. Most people I meet when experiencing this just shrug it off and don't pay attention to it, but man the frequency of unexplained deaths is alittle bothersome.

I would love something like this. See the events that led to a death, especially in raids or GMs where stuff can happen quickly and randomly. However, all it would take is one inaccurate reading from this very inexact programming data for people start crying foul, hacks, or some other thing.
