Amongst everything with warlock it requires and exotics to make something bad better. Yet even astrocytheverse doesn't fix all the issues with blink. Especially since on your second initial blink sometimes your weapons wont ready faster. Blink alone is a former shell of itself and due to that it isn't much for competitive usage. Which is why no one uses it in scrims or that high tier payers don't touch the void. It also doesn't help that voidwalker is the worst subclass option for warlocks even out of 3 options.
Still an issue since the launch of destiny's alpha and no attention or address to fix it. Might take 4 years like our damn melee took 3 along other issues with warlocks ignored to this day.
Blink shouldn't damage the user first and foremost nor should the falling screen bounce and shake play and part, especially since the movement wont allow you to counter it. Also the hitbox of your character is stretched from the time you blink to the area you travel anyone can shoot your trail and witthout even shooting your body you take damage.

It's still great in pve. I'm just glad it's still in the game, because it is ridiculously over powered in pve.

1 AntwortenTitans deserve an Evade!

So because blink is literally teleporting, there's no reason whatsoever that they should be able to be hit while using it....granting the entire stretched hitbox isn't a "blink", it's slow motion and makes you a very dead fish in a barrel...Now, I also agree that if not correctly built mechanics-wise, yes, the crucible would be filled with nothing but "blink-gunners", but it's not like it would be difficult to account for it being a defensive only thing...IE, what if you weren't able to be hit during blink. but your weapons wouldn't ready until your feet hit the ground or... ____ [whatever other variable] ...As for hunters having it again, that'd be cool with me as I absolutely loved the "invisible" build arc hunter from D1, but I think it wouldn't quite work in D2, at least with the arc subclass, simply because there's no thematic carry over...but maybe void subclass could have it instead....Just my take on it...thnx for your time all.

1 AntwortenDid you try opening and closing your eyes really fast?

Give up already. They don’t give two stuffs about warlocks in crucible. You will be waiting four more years into destiny four before they do anything.
-
2 AntwortenNo. Most D1 players found going up against blinking shotgun rushers (“blink-shotgun”) to be an uncounterable play style. It was what led to the nerfs in the first place. Bungie wants to limit it to being used as a defensive movement, and not an offensive one.
-
3 AntwortenWhile I could agree it may need work done to it, the nerfs were a result of it being too strong. I don’t agree if we’re talking straight removal of said nerfs, but I could support a buff.
-
11 Antwortenbuff it by giving it back to Hunters
-
Ill gladly take immunity frames on blink like it was back in D1 and Ill gladly take a blink jump on all the subclasses. I could care any less about the air dodge on top tree dawnblade, blink is more of a warlock ability. Air dodge looks better on titans and I say this as warlock main
-
2 AntwortenAll of the void trees need a buff. An arc staff can easy block nova bombs, but Bungie doesn’t care about warlocks.
-
It shouldn't stretch the user's hitbox, end of story.
-
4 AntwortenThey delay before it activates is dumb and needs to be removed
-
D1's blink and give it back to hunters as well. Maybe make voidlock more like D1 in general.
-
1 AntwortenYeah this game sucks.
-
Its the way it is because we had it it jns original form for 3 yrs and caused nothing but a ruckus. It might not be perfect now but its better than it being hilariously broken.
-
I remember when it got an exotic but then they nerfed it because it was actually fun to use. Unlucky
-
6 AntwortenThey should remove the radar delay and weapon ready delay from Blink and re-work Astrocyte verse time provide another benefit. In D1 it was supposed to give you a recovery boost when you blink but it was such a small boost it could only be noticed through testing. I think if done right that could be a cool perk.

Bearbeitet von Swiftlock: 7/27/2020 2:26:05 AMI agree that Blink isn't the best jump, but all it takes is one wrong tweak to fill PvP with obnoxious blink shotgunners.
-
5 AntwortenIt is the fastest jump.

More like an unnerf
