Rearming Rasputin, building an alliance with him, Ana Bray resurfacing.....
The time is perfect to give us Siva subclasses.
We know guardians can infuse objects with Light, so why not do that with Siva?
I'm imagining Siva subclasses with 3 skill trees, each with a different element (e.g. Top Arc, Mid Solar, Bottom Void).
Edit: Having it be combined with pure Light instead of elemental Light and have it count as a kinetic subclass would probably be better.
Edit 2: What about instead of using actual SIVA, guardians used Light to create SIVA-like Nanites? Like how Hunters use Light to create a copy of The Last Word?
And a new element would come along with it. Personally I'd love to see a red element so we could have red Light.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Lore Oradon: 6/2/2020 3:06:45 PMTo add. Our supers are of the 4 Elements of the universe. Siva is not part of those 4. Solar Arc Void Decay If it follows the 4 Elements of the universe, then ok. But there just little bots.

Something that could of happen, but I doubt will now, would be Rasputin siding with the darkness to protect humanity. Letting the subclasses of darkness being Taken/shadow, Siva, and (I don't know, feel free to reply with your ideas).

2 AntwortenI really feel like SIVA was a missed opportunity in D2. It was such a cool concept when it was introduced in ROI. Then they just... abandoned it. The only traces of it in D2 are in Outbreak Perfected and a few symbols etched into the environment. Pretty disappointing, tbh

I’m not sure how you think SIVA can be a Light based subclass. I’m also puzzled by what a “kinetic subclass” is. Nanites require a complex control system to keep them in line. There is absolutely nothing to indicate it could be a subclass and everything to indicate it can’t. I’m a little uncomfortable with all this SIVA thirst.

1 Antworten"Personally I'd love to see a red element so we could have red Light." If we get Darkness Subclasses then you'll get your red light dream come true. It'd be fitting since the power of the pyramid on the moon is generally red.

4 AntwortenSorry, but Bungie sunset Siva. If you go to the Cosmodrome for the exotic quests it's as if Rise of Iron never happened.

Bearbeitet von spankingCane: 5/31/2020 7:46:23 PMMaybe that's why Rasputin needed us to use our light millions of times so he could figure out how to make his own light... light infused frames and Siva etcetera 😲 Edit: Rasputin class

4 AntwortenWhile this might be good in theory, you have to remember that Rasputin has COMPLETELY lost all connection to SIVA and the replication chamber is destroyed.

As long as theres a choice to not get this. Sure.

While I would have said heck yeah a while back, I'd rather darkness subclasses right now due to what's going on in lore and current events. I love SIVA but now that we know SIVA was never really a threat since it's release was Rasputin's doing, I'm kinda off the hype train for it and Dark Guardians seem like a couple idea. I already miss SIVA being it's own threat... I mean I liked the story about Felwinter and Rasputin but that pretty much makes SIVA feel less threatening to me now...

2 AntwortenI’ve been saying this since D1 RoI. I design my character, weaponry, and cosmetics all based on SIVA. That’s my thing lol.

and if they don't want to do that, maybe they could just make an exotic armor piece that modify's one of your super perks, or even new mods that do the same thing.
-
That would make about no sense.

14 AntwortenYou have no understanding of Siva, Guardians, The Light, and possibly the lore in general of you think any of this shit makes sense and could work in the destiny universe...

The abilities would actually be pretty sweet.

i always thought Siva dealt Solar damage

I will welcome any new super or damage element

I can get behind this because I suggested it way back when it was first revealed that Forsaken would have been subclasses. I think I had laid out some Supers that I thought were cool, but Bungie would never listen to us like that. If they took our ideas and put them in the game, what are they paying people for? Other than the obvious "turning it into a playable game"?

Bearbeitet von NeonPropose: 5/30/2020 11:52:26 PMTitan - Becomes a SIVA brawler kind of character with a charge ability. Warlock - Northstar from Titanfall Hunter - does a flip and summons a Minigun (yes I know it’s weird but I love this idea). Unlikely and illogical, but an idea I really like.

This would be really cool. But like Bungie has stated “creating content is hard”. They are a video game company, creating content is their job. Plus they have hundreds of employees, compared to smaller companies that crank out good content with less.
